Are there any groups for so travellers to meet?

Thanks! I’ve got a few Spanish words and phrases, but couldn’t hold a proper convo that’s for sure! what’s the feel with camping? I’ve seen some rec not to…but I think I’m a bit too late for a room.

The poster might ask for a deposit as guarantee that you’ll do the work and not just take the ticket and run, like when you volunteer. Still might be legit, just wanted to raise the possibility that it might not be!

Hey! First timer here…lineup is looking pretty tasty! I’m curious, does the festival often sell out? I can already see some super cheap tickets on ticketswap, but not sure how long to wait. For those that have been before, any feedback? I’ve read that in the past it has been fairly disorganised. Also, vibe for solo travellers? I always like to check after a weird experience I had at SMS festival one year (it all worked out in the end but some people weren’t very open to a non German speaker 😬). How international is BBK?

Are any of you budding photographers? Bit random but I saw a post on reddit which claimed to be from a band/artist willing to offer a free ticket if someone was willing to take photos of their performances. I mean I assume it could be a scam…they ask for a deposit to secure your ticket and make sure you don’t drop out, but might be worth asking for more info

I tried for 15mins and decided it’s not it’s not my lucky day. Again 😆that’s the 3rd very near miss after my self and one other got past the waiting room for the resale. We had 1 x crash early on and the 2 x sold out, which we kept refreshing to no avail. Oh well. Time to buy some more chocolate 😆😆

Meeeee. I’m super nervous!!! I’ve volunteered at many of festivals in the past but Glasto is a bit different because there is so much going on you need every hour of the day. But…I’m outta options, and being there and working is better than not being there amiright????

Ahhh sorry I think I misunderstood your first post. I thought you mean if you’ve signed up for Glasto or shindig they’d be releasing more…yeah, I’ve been looking for a while now in the hope I might get lucky and see Glasto become available again. Thanks heaps for replying. At least I know I’ve done all I can (other than wait and check).

Congrats to those who got lucky. We had one person who got through in time and then it crashed, and myself and a 3rd person got through at 9:12 and 9:14 but all tickets allocated, and despite continuing to try we didn’t get lucky. I’ve heard that sometimes there are additional sales that aren’t advertised publicly??
