  1. Ignore the warning on campervan field tickets about the vehicle having to be a "live-in vehicle with kitchen etc". We had large groups of cars throughout our field with nothing but tents an gazeebos. Asked a few if they had had issues getting through security, all said no.
  2. I think the loo provision at this festival is shocking. Deer Shed has massive area of loos, about 60 loos in an area, several of these. A much smaller festival not treating it customers like gerbils. bd made a big point of how Andy Loos were coming back in 23, Thought this company must be the BMW of crapper provision, but We saw less loos everywhere in 23 than 22. In our campervan field I think it was 4 this year. FFS up the provision. even if this means putting ticket prices up. Whether it's £200 or £230 no one gives a damn.
  3. 2022was my first BDF and loved it. Fave camp moment was watch two vans sidle apart to create a space for a small work van to pitch in between. The guy then spent a couple of hours nailing loads of wood and tarp together to make a lovely sleeping room. Classic. Can't remember what time we arrived Thursday last year but we ended up down in field 6. Due to beginning knee and hip issues I'm wanting to avoid the walk from field 6 to the arena. So to get into field 1, which seems to offer a shorter commute, do I need arrive ultra early or ultra late? Thanks.
  4. There is a campervan pass with 1 adult ticket on ebay.
  5. Alerts have never worked on my twickets account, they sorted it out once but alerts soon stopped appearing. I listed 2 entry and 1 campervan, they sold before the listing could be seen, we were watching on a laptop through my partners account.
  6. Come on, spill the beans WTF was ghandis flip flop.
  7. I saw many munching on their woodfired pizza from next to tim peaks, all happy with it. Every time I would have bought one the queue was huge, whenever the queue was small I had eaten some other crap from the "street food" vendors. Asking my son to make an app to rate and comment on vendors for next year. As a campervanner I can obviously bring what I want to eat. I brought little other than a bit of brewing gear, brekkie and a few tins. This was my first KC and was really looking forward to food mooching, which can be a great part of a festival experience. However, this was a disappointment beyond my wildest dreams.
  8. Been building our lives back to festivals now kids have grown. Been to a few smaller ones in last 2 years, Beautiful Days, Bearded Theory and Kendal just now. I couldn't believe how small some of the portions of food that vendors gave out at kendal were. Worst one was the Tibetan Kitchen. 8 pieces of potato (2 very small spuds diced =20p) and 6 small pieces of beef (prolly £1's worth) with a table spoon of stock and cold rice. All in all £1.50 of food for £13.00. Absolute joke and the veg version the Mrs had was also poor. Though by now festivals would ensure that portions and price were fair, THEY WERE AT BEARDED THEORY AND BEAUTIFUL DAYS. Were the loaded yorkshire puddings any good? Most piles of food in the mud I saw had a yorkshire in it.
  9. Did anyone manage to catch them at Kendal? Spent ages trying to find them when the didn't materialise at the woodlands, to no avail. Any news?
  10. Hi, I have received my live in vehicle tickets from see tickets. they came in 1 envelope. Inside the envelope was 1 info leaflet and a grey "this is not a ticket" ticket. Do I need to take this grey ticket along with the hanger to gain entry? If it is needed do I have to enter at the same time as my friend (who's ticket I ordered along with mine) or do I need to get see tickets to send me out another "this is not a ticket" ticket? Thanks.
  11. Hi, looking for advice on campervan fields. Do first arrivals get pitched in the woodland field, is the woodlands field a good spot for campervans? The website states pitches are 7x7, does that mean pitching a side awning is allowed? Any comments on peoples experience of campervaning at bearded theory and any advice most welcomed.
  12. Hello. My son and friends have camping plus tickets for a 6 person bring your own tent. They have all have bought a "weekend with early entry" ticket. On the information page for Camping Plus, it mentions normal access is from Thursday, but Wednesday access can be obtained by purchasing an "early entry ticket". Is this referring to the same "early entry ticket" bought along side a weekend entry festival ticket or is this referring to a special Camping Plus "early entry ticket". Tried to get answers from the company but I have had no response. Also I have been trying to get clarification on what they are allowed to pitch. Do they have to bring one single 6-man tent or can they bring (as they are currently planning to) three 2-man tents. Many thank for any insights, this festival is stressing me out.
