  1. Another small act announced. Replacing blue stones x
  2. Do you think this will be local acts? 2 more acts to be added?
  3. I thought it was just the local acts left to announce, but still getting a few surprises!
  4. Another very small announcement James Walsh on the acoustic Stage Sunday.
  5. https://www.turinbrakes.nl/2022/03/01/turin-brakes-set-for-songs-stories-podcast-event-in-hove/ This says Turin Brakes are headlining Acoustic
  6. @AndybaggieI agree, I too live in Portsmouth, and the festival has got better over the years since the first one in the dockyard. The toilet situation last year on the Saturday was dire, and the queues for food. But the one thing I have noticed with Victorious is they do listen to complaints and try to resolve them.....although every year they do get something wrong. Fingers crossed they get enough toilets/food stalls/bars etc!
  7. They usually do 3 main announcements, so I dont think we get much more, if they are keeping it as usual. Just the local acts and specialist stages to go.

  9. Another strange post on the Facebook page. They been putting banners up locally but added a photo of the banners and then a photo of the 2018 T-shirt with a 2021 staff info lanyard
  10. Sisco - Your right, the Seaside stage is usually sponsored by a Portsmouth based recording studio and presented by a guy called Nick Courtney, who pretty much is involved in all events, gigs in the area. So apart from one or two mainstream acts, most are local talent, or people Nick is promoting. But some do have a fairly big following. I have seen the seaside stage (or as the locals call it the bandstand) and all the flat part of the field is a works area. There is a photo on Facebook on the Southsea Coastal Scheme. I know it may not interest some of you, but Portsmouth city council and Nick run free music events on that field every Saturday and Sunday from May to September, and sometimes thousands of locals attend. So waiting to hear what is the plan for "Live at the Bandstand" for 2022
  11. I live in Portsmouth about 5/10mins from the camp site. Pre 2020 they would announce after the price increase, there was normally 3 main waves of announcements, in line with the 3 tiers ...then July would be the final tier 4 full price, in line with all the local acts & smaller stage acts announced. However 2021 and so far this year, they announced acts it a few days/weeks prior to the price increase. So fingers crossed, we may hear something in next 2/3 weeks.
  12. Gutted, they even had the letters on their Facebook photo story, so thought they maybe hinting as we not had a sign up this year - Last year was Fitbituknowit - Mike Skinner. (2020 was we miss you) I think they must be teasing us lol To be fair the letters are too small for the sign, they are a good 4ft normally!
  13. Has anyone seen the facbook post of them painting letters....could this be a clue, as they like to sometimes announce acts by putting song lyrics up where the Victorious Letters go. The did this a few times before?
