  2. The blurb underneath the post is more....interesting? unhinged?

'On Jay Zs birthday Future president of the United States Ye uses Mark Zuckerberg's platform to incite a mass investigation of Elon Musk's childhood photos in the midst of Balenciagagate I call this The theory of everything Problem solved Praise God'

Nice that he gives a shout out to JayZ on his birthday, I guess?

Err.. you do mean condemn, right?

Ha! When I wrote that I was like ‘ is that the right word?’ But didn’t bother checking. Thanks for not cancelling me. I do indeed me the other ‘con’ word.

I don’t think he’s always had these views, but if you see the people he’s been associating with lately - Candace Owens, Nick Fuentes, Milo Yiannopoulos - then you get an idea of what kind of opinions and conversations he’s been having thrusted his way. Maybe that’s me giving him way too much credit, but I just think he’s a very mentally unwell but equally hugely egotistical guy who’s also incredibly susceptible to this kind of ridiculously controversial ‘out there’ and ‘pushing the boundary’ thinking and has surrounded himself with a bunch of scumbags who are always looking for the next grift, and what better grift than one of the most infamously famous but unstable guys in the world. That dickhead who was with him for the Alex Jones interview 100% fed Kanye all that stuff, so much so that Kanye had to keep referring back to him to make sure he was ‘getting it all right’.

Hopefully that doesn’t come off as me sympathising with what Kanye’s doing, because it’s really deplorable… I just don’t think it’s as black and white as ‘Kanye’s a nazi now and probably always has been’.

    I agree with this.

also completely condone all this shite he’s saying.

Not been to any the past couple of months, but love the theatre and musicals...

next week going to see Nightmare before christmas in london and have booked up War of the Worlds Immersive experience for the day before, love a good bit of "immersive" experience interactive theatre.. anyone been?

Ooooh, I didn’t know there was a version of nightmare on, let us know how it is!

I’ve been to the War of the Worlds immersive experience. It was weird (good weird) but the VR was a bit janky but we went REALLY early in the run so hopefully it’s all been ironed out by now. There were themed cocktails also (my favourite theatre gimmick).

when we came out the experience, Jeff Wayne was in the bar and I lost my mind, unsure if it’s a common experience 🤣

people have been happy to suggest the roxy booking was changed because they didn't fit, but also that its sacrilege to suggest the same with gnr. 😛

I think Roxy were a strange choice for legend slot but i hope they're elsewhere. Headlining west holts perhaps.

Could someone better qualified than me kindly compile a list of all the current candidates including likelihood a la the headliners thread. Robbie, Eurythmics, Spice Girls come to mind but sure there are loads I’ve forgotten. (Sorry if there already is one that I’ve missed).

I did one but it's not people actually in contention, it was more everyone listed in this thread ever until i got bored half way through.

(i'm not sure if that's linked correctly...)

  8. I am super disappointed by this possible nailing on of GnR, they just feel like such a average choice. But I'm pleased for everyone that'll be going, plenty of other stages and all that.

Should've Would've Could've has that angry, driving vocal that so many of The National's songs have which is what I think I love so much, the Dessner touch. But then the lyrics are fantastic too.

Yeah, i really love all the religious imagery in it.

  10. I caved and listened to two of the 3AM tracks over the weekend. Shouldve Wouldve Couldve is such an angry bop. Also, something in the song reminds me of the bridge from Mad Woman.

Saving the remainder of the 3AM tracks for a sad day.
