A few people on Reddit received a newsletter saying that the Party Arena nights will be hosted as follows: ELROW - 7th August, Q-dance - 8th August, Awakenings - 9th August, STMPD - 10th August, Next Level & Rampage - 11th August, Be Massive - 12th August

With STMPD/Awakenings as one of the party area nights, I imagine next announcement will have a few from Julian Jordan, Seth Hills, Mesto, Dubvision, Matisse and Sadko. Other than that we know for (almost) certain next announcement will include Liam Gallagher, Raye, Skrillex, Tom Odell, MØ, Editors and Kiasmos, correct?

Fontaines surely sub-headline slot and if they did indeed land Skrillex, I would hope that he would be at the Main Stage. I've had nothing but claustrophobic experiences when DJs of similar size did Party Arena (Alan Walker/Steve Aoki).

there's no point in judging the line-up without seeing the bigger picture. i'm not the biggest liam gallagher fan but with a good few acts before it may turn out to be a good day

So headliners we have at the moment are Fred again.., Stormzy, Sam Smith, Martin Garrix and Liam Gallagher. We're missing at least one headliner and Leaks said there will be more than one on certain days - surely there must be a band amongst them?

The Smile don't seem to be visiting Budapest in August

I think Leaks had ruled Dua out a while ago... but at this point the promotion of artists announced months ago is giving me heartburn

From what I've seen, Werchter began to look like a disaster after initial announcement as has been receiving a lot of love lately. Hang in there.

to be fair the city of Budapest has been a partner for ages and it isn't something they don't usually do - marketing the city is part of the festival's identity

at this point i cannot imagine next announcement without AT LEAST Keane and TDCC.

There's also that little ditty that we're expecting more than two headliners, so who knows. Unless (as with Stormzy) they've relegated what it means to be a headliner and are just spitballing it.

our entire saving grace for this would be that Sziget is too big and corporate to release a 'here's what we've got so far' line-up so I imagine (/hope) that the delay is because they *really* want to lock in something good. So far the only hint from leaks seems to be point at Skrillex. I've also said that with 2 eurovision acts in Joost and Joker Out, it would make a lot of sense for Maneskin to be the rock headliner (which I don't mind tbh)

The Alien emoji gave me a sliver of hope. If the next announcement has a few of Skrillex, Jorja Smith, Two Door Cinema Club, Wombats, Sampha, Bakar and the like (excluding headliners because at this point come what may)

This can mean one of two things. Either 1. they have a safe-enough amount of artists to begin teasing second announcement or 2. they're up in the air with regards to bookings and decided to post this instead of another revolut ad.

Just goes to show how a few names can beef up a line-up substantially. I wouldn't be mad at a copy+paste of this at Sziget
