  1. If they aren't announced as a Balaton Sound headliner it's basically a done deal for Sziget no?
  2. Just a thought: could we be getting 2 rap co-headliners on different days (A$AP Rocky/Stormzy) as announced in 2020 as opposed to a main rap headliner? I believe someone said Kendrick was out of the question this year and even so, it would have been to recent of a booking to bring him back so soon. If not, my money's still on Tyler the Creator or The Weeknd
  3. I think any one of Fever 333, Nothing But Thieves or The War on Drugs will also be announced in Phase 2 Sziget lineup
  4. I will happily take Glass Animals, Rufus du Sol, Channel Tres, James Blake, Tash Sultana & jxdn
  5. It seems like a lot of festivals have posted line-up announcements in the past few days. From a marketing standpoint I would imagine that Sziget would announce theirs sometime soon no? Also, I feel like I'm seeing a lot of Faithless (DJ Set) in European line-ups this summer... where would they fit in Sziget? Would definitely be a cool addition
  6. Seeing that he was announced last time and has a couple of UK dates in August I think he'll most likely be there. Experiencing 'Ultimate' live at A38 would be quite a sight to see
  7. So The Weeknd is dropping his Dawn FM album tomorrow This could be just confirmation bias but he 1. wanted to switch from arenas to bigger venues 2. has a lot of European dates to be satisfied and 3. could be the person to fill the hip-hop (/rnb) spot or am i just reaching?
  8. A Disclosure/Tame Impala co-headline situation sounds like a pretty insane day tbh
  9. Coldplay just added some concert dates and will be in Belgium on August 9 and in UK from August 12-20 - I think that pretty much rules them out no?
  10. Lest we forget that Led Zeppelin allegedly played their first gig with the new name 53 years ago today.... Zeppelin confirmed?
  11. I don't know if it's much to go on but MCR's The Black Parade came out 15 years ago today... could we see My Chemical Romance at Sziget 2022?
  12. Low-key though, how likely is it that The Weeknd adds a stop to Sziget now that he has cancelled all of his arena shows to go for Stadiums? That would be one hell of a saving grace imo
  13. A Swedish House Mafia booking would also give some truth to the 'bigger than ever' thing Sziget has been going on about. Having seen SHM in 2019 and I can vouch, one of the best experiences ever.
  14. Both of them have a very American-style set where they just rapidly mash together their originals with Dubstep, Riddim, Trap, EDM and just about everything else and having witnessed them live - it's a pretty decent show. Still have my fingers crossed for Calvin Harris or Disclosure somewhere in the line-up 😢
  15. I don't know if it's too much to go on but The Chainsmokers have an upcoming album and will be in Europe in May 2022 and Marshmello will play Airbeat-One in Germany in July... both have prior relationships with Sziget so who knows.
  16. Greetings 👋 Finally got to make an account after years of following this! With regards to line-up, we know that Kings of Leon and Dua Lipa are definitely in but the lack of communication is ridiculous at this point. If they plan on keeping the line-up very similar to the last Sziget, what's the point of waiting until now without a single reveal?
