i can't boil it down to five. i keep seeing everyone else's and forgetting who's on the poster. continually reminded of how good the line up is. pavement and YYYs definitely on the shortlist though.

well yeah, you get what i mean though - i wasn't misleading, she is moving her tour because of covid restrictions, it might not be relevant per se to PS, but it's hopefully not a pattern that emerges as the clock ticks down to June 1st.

not yet - apparently they're looking to recruit a new singer/regroup, and the UK tour in april (i think) still stands. but this does seem a little optimistic considering he was the best thing about them imho

of any touring acts my feeling it'll be the US ones that are the most likely to drop out/cancel, which could be pretty seismic tbh

i liked it when shellac played unannounced by the entrance turnstiles one year, about 2pm. glaring sunshine, and they let a little kid play drums.

tindersticks' 30th anniversary tour covers loads of european countries including portugal, but no spanish dates. could be a nice fit in the auditori maybe

believe it or not, i'm going to a festival on friday - rockaway beach in sussex - it's been a case of will it/won't it happen for about three months, even today i'm not 100% convinced it will happen - but if it does, well, i can only imagine how 'euphoric' (see also: drunk) it's going to feel....

don't they just? it's a line up that might well be really exciting to a lot of people, but that isn't me at all - it's one of those posters that, when you do discover something on it that excites you, it really stands out glaringly....
