man, that daytime beach was comfortably one of the best bits of PS last time for me - absolute heaven. a trek to get there maybe, but beach, sun, proper loud soundsystem, lovely cafe, aperol spritz, a dip in the sea, sand between your toes...

i personally really enjoy rickshaws from the site afterwards. life in your own hands kinda stuff but super fun if you're a bit drunk, and most have radios too.

i believe it's all good now - the NHS app code is now accepted (provided you show the "for travel" QR code, not "domestic") the spain site asks you to send your NHS code solely to check, but i did this yesterday and it will be accepted, the website assured me. also - the forms are no longer needed - they ended this week.

we usually pick up on the wednesday from booths just outside the fest venue - but who knows this year as, as far as i know, nothing is on on the wednesday...

ah i was hooping for this news, although not so immediately - cool - although will a UK covid pass work in spain?

separate issue completely but as it stands, those who want to enter spain from abroad have to pre register their flight details and passport numbers online and then fill in a form either online or that gets emailed to you 2 days before travel. might not be required in 8 weeks or whatever, but worth a pre register to get the forms, if you're that way inclined available here: www.spth.gob.es

genuine question - what exactly is the point of paying through the app? do you save on exchange rates or something? if i'm using a phone to pay for something, i might as well use applepay right? i mean, once my credit has run out of course...

a credit card thingy that opened the turnstiles, which looks to have been replaced by an app this year. may have had other uses but it stayed in my wallet the whole time. i always pay for drinks with cash or my bankcard so no great loss to me to be honest, just another thing to lose!

in the app the only option seems to be to transfer the whole thing - so i guess it could be possible to do that on the sunday morning - but it will have been 'activated' by then so perhaps not?

all sorted - i had already got the app so tried to activate in that, which doesn't seem unreasonable but there you go - so just follow the link in the email, not the app!

i got my email this morning, and it asks you to scan in the QR code on the ticket to register, or enter the alphanumeric code under the QR one. The app doesn't recognise my QR, or the alphanumeric code it suggests as an alternative. This system sucks already. Customer services here we come...

princess is a smidge more close and where the bands stay. hilton is bigger and a slightly longer walk. hotel zero, opposite the princess, has a pool too. in the day people are normally sleeping but when i've been to the pool it's been busy, but quietly busy.

funny story - a friend just told me she'd read somewhere 'reliable' that primavera was being moved to september. i asked her where she got her info from and she said it was the efestivals forum page. i scrambled over here only to find nothing. i asked her again. then she realised it was last year's PS forum she was reading. don't ask me why. i nearly had a heart attack.
