Your comments make a lot of sense. They also have Azahriah who appears to be absolutely massive in Hungary (but only has 600,000 monthly listeners on Spotify, compared to Raye who has almost 33 million). I doubt very much that the festival will struggle to sell tickets. It might be slightly quieter on certain days but that's always been the case.

Am I completely misunderstanding what constitutes as EDM nowadays? I don't get a feeling that there's an overly large amount of EDM acts announced. Sam Smith is hardly EDM, nor is Stormzy. Or Louis Tomlinson, Big Thief, Fontaines DC, Aurora, Crystal Fighters, Meute, Zoe Wees, Yard Act, Nova Twins, Pip Blom, Wednesday, Blondshell. Not to mention Liam, Editors, Tom Odell or Raye.....

Agree, I know people who have bought one day tickets for Leeds Festival at £130 each just to see him.

Liam is huge in UK. He played to 170,000 over two nights at Knebworth in 2022. Since 2017 he's had three solo number one albums and his album with John Squire of The Stone Roses went in at number one in the album charts last Friday. Appreciate this is all very UK-centric, but just wanted to highlight he's still topping the charts.

Absolutely no chance they are the rock headliner. Sub or A38 headliner would be my guess.

Would be very happy if the 2nd and 3rd are hinting at Editors and Liam. We are 'expecting' Two Door Cinema Club but can't see how that middle clue fits with the scissors. Greta Van Fleet just announced tour dates in U.S and Canada during Sziget so definitely out.

Comment from the festival on Instagram when someone asked for line-up announcement today: "We know you're eager to know and we're eager to tell you! We'll share the news as soon as we can. Your patience means a lot to us." That, I'm afraid, does not sound like an announcement is coming in a few days' time.....

Agreed. Plus, the rogue email that was shared on here about her appearing, had her down as playing 12 August, implying she'll likely sub Fred on the final day.

Seems almost inevitable that it'll be 12 March. I really hope it's no later. Very difficult to sell tickets to an festivam with only 30 plus acts announced over six days.

Probably more chance of them being there than not. Although I thought that about lots of acts prior to the first announcement 🤣

Both Keane and Snow Patrol are 'much' bigger in the UK than Razorlight and Kodaline are. Not sure if that popularity is the same across Europe. Would be amazed to see either play A38.

I'd say it was certainly possible. Guess it depends what kind of position they want on the line up. I could see them subbing at best, but they might want more.

I think we all agreed that the slate was wiped clean after announcement one. Dua Lipa wouldn't surprise me at all if they couldn't get Lana.
