Yeah the Saturday was mad. I spent most of the afternoon in the shade of a bar. And fair play to them, they kept jugs of fresh iced water out and encouraged everyone to drink it. The one I was in (can’t remember which tbh) were also handing out free sunscreen, along with the usual from Info points. There’s not many festivals that look after their guests so well. I went to V for a day one year - my mate won tickets on Virgin radio - we had VIP passes and even though it was hot not a single drink of water was on offer unless you paid. Sh!te festival.

Plume talk. 2019 again I’m telling ya. it’s going to be absolutely scorching by the festival weekend.

From what I can see from various sources, a mixture of sunshine, cloud and showers. Light rain at worst. Pah. That’s nothing. I mean it could all change but I don’t see anything suggesting a catastrophe.

I was just up the hill from that. Walked to the bottom of Pennards and saw the devastation. Crowds of people looking on in disbelief. It was the most freakish weather I’ve ever seen in my life in the uk.

I bought a really decent second hand pair in Vinted. They’ve even been worn in for me! They were £7.50.

I watched Primal Scream doing Screamadelica. It was fantastic. Shame BG has turned out to be a horrible or!ck.

Heaved it down on Tuesday in 2019. I left work at lunchtime on my motorbike and was soaked to the skin. Had to pull over at one point it was so bad. I live kn the SW btw.

No Frickin Chicken is there, they’re local to me and incredible. Near Woodsies I think. Best Fried chicken I’ve ever had and it’s not even chicken! And their Vegan ice cream and milkshakes are out of this world. I always go to them at Worcester Vegan market. They’ve just done Download and went down a storm. Lovely people too. My 6 year old daughter tried it (she can be a bit fussy) and she asks me all the time when we can have it again.
