in the area, sounded additional to what was there.  when I see him again I'll ask what he knows.

This makes sense as Carhenge just seemed a bit pointless last year, hopefully we will get the completed area this year.

Erm...unless I missed it, I don't think English Teacher are on the line-up. Yet! With their new album out this month and a headline UK tour in the autumn, they may well play - I think they played three sets in 2022 and were fab!

    Ben

They are playing Leftfield. Someone had info on here , can't remember which day though.

I think that they changed the orientation of San Remo last year seemed to funnel all the noise to the right side of Hitchin. Was a lot louder than previously last year

Maybe the noise was San remo rather than silver Hayes then. May go for south park this year.

I saw them both on that tour too. At the Astoria 2, with Ash coming on as a secret support - it was right around the time Kung Fu came out. My mates met Jarvis at the bar, I was busy watching Ash.

Nice, Ash were such a good band in their prime. I seen them at Southampton Joiners Arms, 3 quid on the door I seem to remember.

  5. Camped at Hitchen Hill last year, got a great spot Wednesday early afternoon. Probably won't go there again though as the noise from Silver Hayes was constant and I'm one of those people who needs a good few hours sleep every night. Any decent quieter spots anyone can recommend..?

    All good.

Have also since heard that English Teacher on Leftfield late Sat.

That's fantastic news. Brilliant band. Could be my elusive Saturday night headliner!

Paranoid London/Marc Ribbilet/Flying Mohito Brothers (of course may all be added - preferably on Sat evening)

Yousef Dayes and Michael Rother (think its wild theyve not booked either)

Ohsees/Underworld/Smile/Patti/Weller/Khruangbin (would have hugely improved mid-card and could have headlined Woodsies/Park)

Anything from the Cross The Tracks or Wide Awake line ups (where i've not spotted an overlap apologies but was so keen to see Neal Francis this year on the farm)

Truthfully tho, can't get my head round Springsteen not playing, given his proximity that weekend and his presence in 2022.

Still a chance Underworld could play..?

Orbital subbing sunday Park is completely fine

ala fred again this year on other etc

    its hardly ridiculous

I hope they are on Sunday as will avoid clashes for me. I think it's looking more likely its Saturday however.

  9. 3 of my must sees, The Streets, Sleaford mods and Orbital look like they are all playing at the same time. Not to mention my 2 faves clashing, Idles and fontaines.

What could have been 5 acts I would definitely see can only be 2...

    Choices to make.

    No Arcadia this year

?? Surely there is. I know Spider gone but I thought there's a new theme this year with helicopters or something. Sure u not getting confused with Rabbit hole going?

I do love this year's lineup, but I must admit the Woodsies and Park headliners are a bit underwhelming. I don't know why The Smile aren't headlining either of those stages this year but then the likes of Jamie XX, Gossip, London Grammar are...

My guess is they wanted them to play but The Smile weren't interested.

My sons gone to watch The Smile in Brighton tonight. I'm hoping they will play a secret set maybe.
