I shall be asking questions in Parliament about who decided to have Skindred, Idles and Fontaines DC all headlining on a Friday night.

Was hoping skindred would be Saturday headliners. That's a nightmare 3 way clash.

Concerned an Earache band (Skindred) on Avalon is further confirmation that Truth stage is no more.

Comparing Williams Green to an extra 50 a ticket feels very high considering most of those bands were playing for very little money if not just tickets.

If Truth is now gone this year it’s hard not to see the fest cutting WG and now Truth as creative and not just financial decisions (as they were 2 of the few small band/rock stages).

Skindred played Truth stage last year and it was nowhere near big enough. I think it will be still there but maybe just called something new if Shangri-la is having a total rejig

This is gonna be epic, but man there's a lot in that crowd that seem subdued. Imagine standing still for that!

    Wasted on that crowd..

Hoping Lynks gets added somewhere. Really good fun live too.

As people have said new English Teacher and Bodega are good. Fingers crossed for all three.

Opening The Park on the Friday. Also English Teacher are playing Leftfield

  5. Maybe the days of booking big name acts have gone then. Still the best festival in the world but just not gonna be able to book the big names unless they are willing to play for reasons other than money.

Starting to belive the annie mac thing. Woefully crap / budget if true.

im sure some will enjoy but just really showing that theres no money in the pot for acts

What are they doing with all the money we are spending on tickets? I agree it's the cheapest act possible, really need a decent act to start the festival proper imo.

Their official line is no but it seems to be if the ticket is not collected on the coach they hand it into the box office for collection. I don’t think I’d be brave enough to risk it unless I actually couldn’t make the coach and wouldn’t be going otherwise

Not worth the risk, I quite like a train ride anyway other than the cost obviously..

Would seriously consider chancing it as the box office - although fair play!

Guessing you've got a mate's to stay at or something in Leeds and theres a few of you on the coach?

My brother lives up in Leeds, whose getting the coach down with me. Is there a good chance of getting your tickets from the box office? I thought the only way was on the coach. If its guaranteed then I will definitely do that!

  9. I live in Cornwall but I have to get the train up to Leeds on the Tuesday in order to catch the coach down to glasto on the Wednesday.. small price to pay for the best week of the year.

Isn't Bob Vylan the band name. There's actually 2 of them. Bit confused myself now to be fair.

Will 11 weeks (spring/summer weeks at that) make any sort of difference do you think?

High pressure taking over next week. Land will very bone dry by June

So importantly balance in full at the time of booking

Wonder why they changed the system from last year..? I was gonna try and help people out but I don't have the money to pay anyone's full balance sadly..

Was thinking that over the weekend, feels like it might be a wet one this year for sure. WHEN WILL IT STOP RAINING!

High pressure taking over next week. I've already been on netweather forums! Also read elsewhere that it's gonna be another record breaking hot summer ☀️

Really hope not, it’s a great stage. Not sure why they would remove it.

Maybe the rumoured new stage near carhenge will be the new truth stage. Last year there was times it felt dangerous there, especially during skindred. Should be much more room if it's moved.

What does this mean?? I know it’s probably a Wembley announcement but that looks suspiciously like a pyramid stage in the background.

Means they will be milking the cash cow again with the same dull rubbish that was manufactured back in the nineties.
