Auchan is life! It’s pretty much like a massive Tesco. Roughly the same quality and prices.

Haven't been to a UK festival since 2019, so I'm not up to date. But we are going to Mad Cool this year, and last year they had 500 mil beer for 5.5 eur, which is pretty much the same price as this. So it really looks like that they have caught up in prices to western europe. Except Hungarian people make about third on average than western europeans.

I think they don't announce the missing of smaller acts. Nathaniel Rateliff are off as well. And Gayle, and I think a couple others.

To me it just reads as “I can’t confirm what you have just said (because im not allowed) but IN CASE these were cancelled (which they were) we will announce it on social media and will try to find a replacement.” Also Gayle cancelled LAST YEAR, and they never even mention it. (Ok much smaller name but still)

Lol. I guess that’s why both she announced cancelling her european tour and consequently Mad Cool removed her from the lineup.

That's it. I couldn't get the stages filter working but maybe they have fixed it. What is seen from here is that they have not moved anyone up to replace Janelle, because there are only two acts on the Madrid is Life stage on the last day. Most likely meaning that they will look to replace her. Lana Del Rey is announcing some other european dates before the 9th of July so that's a possibility...

At least stage splits are up on the App. That helps a lot!

I’m probably one of the few freaks who is absolutely fine with only watching 45 minutes of most gigs. Especially on festivals. Honestly I like to see bands but I definitely lose my patience after an hour or so. So Freedome and main stage being so close is great for me because on most days I will bounce between the two. There are about 20-30 bands in total for me where I wouldn’t want to miss a minute, it’s unlikely they wind up at the same festival, let alone to clash.

Oh, I checked back. Tom Grennan is 4 pm indeed, but could be due to scheduling conflict. Or he is simply unkown outside of the UK? However M83 is at 0:30 not 3am!

They just emailed the full time table as well. It is official. What seems to be wrong?

Also we wouldn't want it to happen even if it did. Imagine how much it would cost for the festival. They would spend 90% of the artist budget on a single headliner. I don't dare to think of the caliber of the other headliners and undercards if we had TS.

I don’t think you will see much outside of it when you are inside the festival. I think as long as they do the inside nicely it will be fine.

You are missing the point. No one bought a day ticket for Arlo either. Im not saying there arent a few thousand people in Hungary who like him, but not nearly strong enough to impact daily sales. So I only argued against the point that they brought him in to increase saturday daily sales. And that wont happen in any significant way.

I don’t necessarily think that works. I’m pretty sure he is not a well known name in Hungary at all. So it won’t sell tickets for Hungarians. And most people from the UK buy a full week ticket I suspect. So I personally doubt that it will particularly help Saturday ticket sales.

Excellent undercards save the Mumford day. But yeah I would not buy a day ticket for undercards only.

That‘s just guess based on band size. I wouldn’t even look at that. For example, the stage setup is different from last year, so those 5 minutes breakes between the two major stages might not make any sense. I’m guessing it will be wildly different.
