Huge update for me. I was tepid as of yesterday but I'm a fan of basically all the new additions. Time to start stressing about clashes, making playlist and counting down until the summer!

I'm sure a lot of other people have done this too, but I've had no hits for anyone touted as a headliner (Alkaline Trio, Frank T of various forms, Shikari, Sleep Token, Neck Deep...)

Remind me, does Download mean less likely for 2KT? A bunch just got added over there and never sure if I should adjust my hopes! It's only a few hours away but it's fun to speculate. Shikari / Busted / Electric Callboy / Wheatus / HEALTH from names I've seen here have been added.

I always take note of the band that isn't at the festival, but has the most shirt wearers. At 2022 Trees it was Sleep Token. Of course, the artists of Sleep Token were making music before the band. One of them has played Trees before. That might be a pull for them to return to Trees over logic and money.

The Postal Service and Death Cab for Cutie are doing joint album tours. They have a date in London but not listed venue so unsure how big they are nowadays. Also booked for a European festival is August and not headlining. I wasn't sure on the Trees stance on "legacy" acts but JEW aren't exactly pushing out bangers. Any chance?

New Lonely The Brave album out today. Worth a listen! They have a tour Nov and a few dates in Feb so fingers crossed they'll be at Trees. Not quite headlining but I do like them. Don Broco also have a tour ending this year. Another to throw into the headliners pool?

Right 2 headliners still go to then! Looks like they seem confident in the undercard too so can't wait to see who they pull out. I've convinced a mate to go this year and he's a MASSIVE Frank Turner fan. I know he's always likely to play at Trees but I've seen no chatter about him. Any thoughts? I'm still hoping for Electric Callboy 😅

Loving Hot Milk's new album so really hoping for them. Another smaller band with new material I'm hoping for is Floya. Discovered them at Radar and think they'll go down a treat and Trees.

I'm starting to get my hopes up (and convincing myself in the process) about Electric Callboy for Trees. Anyone want to talk me out of it? Sold out UK Academy level tour finishes on the 28th. So popularity and timing is right. No clashes for 2024. Seem to go down well at silent disco but right for a headliner? I also said Sleep Token was an unlikely headliner for lore reasons but they have announced other events so they are back in the running for me too. And what a contrast to have them both!

Crossfaith have announced a return to touring with small shows in Japan in September, minus their bassist. So doubt they will be coming.

Oh I know how dates work... That's exciting. In the gigs last week they opened with new music that realeased 2 weeks before. The crowd knew every word. I also think headline a tent rather than main stage

I had been hoping for Sleep Token to headline The Cave. But it looks like they are in Spain that weekend.

Oooh I didn't know you get this kind of data as a Clashfinder creator! Although I aim to highlight all bands eventually with colour coding acts I dislike too, so I know not to bother drifting over. Pup and Vukovi is also my worst clash.
