Arlo Day (already announced) confirmed for Friday. Presumably on the Rising stage.
-
Could be IDLES > Eels > FJM (Mountain) with Sharon headlining Far Out.
-
The pattern of Big Thief’s tour dates indicates that Sunday is the most likely but yeah, they’re by no means definitely on Sunday.
-
This is great news. However, I’m now concerned that one of them will instead clash with Big Thief. Just give us the day splits already!!

Reckon it'll be Shaz > Eels > FJm with Idles headlining Far Out
That would be perfect for me but I think Sharon is too big for that slot.

Idles are indeed on Sunday. Just had it confirmed by the drummers mum, no less.
Haha great stuff.
That’s FJM, Sharon, Eels and IDLES all on Sunday then? Wonder how that will end up...
Sharon > FJM (Mountain)
IDLES > Eels (Far Out)

Aren't Big Thief playing the Sunday as well? That's well stacked...
Not sure but seems most likely based on their tour schedule. Think someone said Aldous Harding was on Sunday? Don’t think that was in @SweepingTheNation‘s lineup.

Unless they play twice in one day at Pukkelpop/Lowlands on the Friday, They'll be at GM on Sunday.
Thursday - La Route Du Rock. Friday - Pukkelpop. Saturday-Lowlands. Sunday - GM.
Have Lowlands confirmed day splits yet? Didn’t think that IDLES were confirmed for Saturday yet. If IDLES clash with Sharon I’m going to be fuming!
-
Aidan Moffat and RM Hubbert also on the Saturday (I put a photo of their tour dates a few pages back or maybe just on the last page can’t remember)

It’s certainly easy to get around but 50 might be pushing it haha.
Far Out to the Mountain Stage is the only sizeable gap but that would be only 10 minutes max when it’s busy.
Looking forward to reports from those who went to Glastonbury. Watched IDLES and Sharon’s set and they both looked fantastic. Comet is Coming looked great from what I’ve seen as well.

I've finally managed to pick up a ticket through Twickets! See you all there!
Ahhh well done! Who you looking forward to seeing?
-
Will be doing my upmost to see her but will be a high chance of a big clash if she’s playing late on the Walled Garden.

I'm still on the lookout for a ticket (adult or student), if anybody knows of one going? I've hit every Twickets alert instantly for weeks (probably 40-50 times) and been beaten to it on every occasion no matter what. Any tips for that would be warmly received too, please!
I've been listening to the playlist relentlessly and have got dangerously excited about an inordinate amount of bands given the lack of a ticket! ?. Current must sees for me would be: (SVE), Four Tet, Amadou & Mariam, (Big Thief), Gwenno, Stella Donnelly, The Beths, Pozi, Porridge Radio, Pigs x7, Black Country New Road, Jockstrap, Hen Ogledd, Sons of Kemet, Khruangbin and Richard Thompson. Plenty more on the 'if possible' list, or those I've (already managed to see) or yet to be discovered!
I was in the same boat as you and only just recently managed to get a ticket. My tip would be to keep clicking back on the ticket even if it says it is currently being booked as the person who is booking may back out before completing the purchase. That’s how I got mine. Got luck!

Audiobooks and Alex Rex also on Thursday I believe.

Listed as Sunday on her Facebook.
Maybe I missed this, but where has SvE playing Sunday come from? I know she can't do Friday but the only other festival she's playing with clashing dates, Lowlands, haven't announced their splits either.
For me I think it was due to the fact that she’s in the UK the week after so it would work well timing wise. Plus the fact that if she is playing on the Mountain Stage (which I’m not certain of) it would work better before FJM than four tet.

Ah cool hadn’t seen that!

Lee Fields and Sons of Kemet are both on the Mountain Stage according to their profiles on the GM website.
Tour dates on Lee Fields’ website has him down on the Saturday and Sons of Kemet’s recent twitter post with tour dates also has them down for the Saturday.
Maybe a run of Sons of Kemet > Lee Fields > XXX (maybe Stereolab?) > Four Tet.

Am I correct in thinking that Aldous Harding is confirmed for Sunday Mountain Stage as well? Some squad depth right there.
GM tweeted that she was on the Mountain Stage but I don't think it's clear what day she'll be.
I'm hoping Big Thief are before Sharon.
-
If we are correct that FJM, SVE and Eels are all on Sunday, then that does suggest that Sharon is subbing FJM and Eels will be headlining the Far Out.
-
Great to have Peaness there! Mentioned a few pages ago I saw them when they were supporting Kero Kero Bonito - will definitely try to see them again. Fans of Alvvays and The Beths will most likely enjoy them.
Will check out the others as well.
Definitely want to visit the Rising stage more often this year. Just Mustard will presumably be on that stage and are a must for me.

anyone got a spare ticket for Green Man Rising at the Lexington tomorrow? Looks like it's totally sold out on Dice xx
I don’t think it’s really a ticketed event. If you show up in good time i think you’re meant to get in.

Managed to get a ticket this evening!
8 weeks to go!!

Yeah you’re probably right. Would work well for me though!
Last year they said Teenage Fanclub and Fleet Foxes weren’t clashing but there was still a fair bit of overlap so it might be a similar situation. So you could have IDLES > Sharon > FJM with Eels headlining Far our but timing wise they’re mainly clashing with Sharon with a bit of overlap into FJM’s slot.
