Putting The Libertines behind The Strokes could be not bad business for a day ticket tbh. I can't see The Strokes doing big numbers, but hit a bit of a big early to mid 00s indie one-two punch as the top two and it might tempt some folk. Personally, they'd probably put me off more than anything, but I could see it getting people interested.
I'm waiting to see how the Nutini and Strokes days unfold. Not seen either and I'd definitely like to see both. Getting tickets for the Nutini day will be a fun ride I'm sure, so it'll probably end up being The Strokes.Kasabian behind the strokes? Usually big enough to headline but with the loss of their main man would they take a sub? Headlining nbhd but it’s only a 25k capacity.

I can’t imagine that’ll take very long to sell out.

Paolo Friday, Strokes Saturday, Capaldi Sunday then?

Same, wondering how much of next year’s lineup will be the same as 2020’s?
Anyone with any ideas, or who you’d love to be there?
They may have agreements to carry people over, or it may be a case of ripping it up and starting again.
Its most of the usual sort of names on the poll anyway.

Would be expecting a good few acts before the 10th November then.
-
And there’s the official announcement! Here we go!
-
Presuming what they’re promoting on their Instagram story is the socially distanced festival? Noticed it’ll be going under a different name

I was half considering a Saturday day ticket if Foals were there as them, Georgia, The Murder Capital and Liam Gallagher would make for a decent day out but I don’t think I’ll bother now.
Very surprised that Ian Brown’s still on there. I’ll be surprised if this doesn’t mostly sell out anyway so surely it’s an easy win to get rid of him and book someone less problematic.
Yeah, could swap him for Morrissey.

Very happy with the Chemical Brothers, they really don’t fit in with the rest of the Sunday lineup though.
They better hope for a decent summer otherwise the green will be in some state by September.

Only problem is no camping, anyone been before and can fill me in on the nearby hotel situation?
Plenty return buses run from Manchester/Liverpool. Makes it pretty easy to get to and from. We always stay in Manchester, plenty decent hotel prices.
-
Brewdog announced earlier they’ll be taking bookings from May 2nd onwards. Don’t know if that’s based on a hunch or they’ve been told something.

Is there any talk of more this year?
Seemed to be a success so I would guess it will be attempted up and down the UK. With holidays abroad being pretty much ruled out I can’t imagine it would be difficult to shift tickets on a couple of months notice.

Besides the lineup, nothing competes with Beni. I’ve never been a bigger shit-show in my life than Mad Cool festival, especially in terms of the logistics for it; 4 hour queues to get into arena, 2 hour queues for drinks and no means of getting home at the end of the night.
I reckon we will have some news on Beni within the next two weeks, or if not definitely before February. If we haven’t heard anything by then, then I think it’s safe to assume no Beni for 2021 😔
I’d go as far as saying if it doesn’t happen this year then it’s finished.
Hotel Orange taking bookings again for anyone wondering but no free cancellations* unfortunately.
* = pay at the property

Thought they would’ve wanted to get dates and some sort of announcement in as early as possible. Obviously not.
-
So is the issue Beni not refunding or festicket not refunding? If it’s festicket I can’t imagine they’ll hold back info like dates for next year

I was half expecting to hear something this week.
Weirdly enough a fair few of my mates who have attended Beni over the years have mentioned they're up for buying tickets as soon as they're released. Can only assume the lack of any 'group' events over the last year has really got to them and they know Beni is a safe bet for people getting involved.
My lot of mates are the same. More people committed to it next year than we’ve ever had. Think everyone’s trying to make up for a lost year.

Pretty out of order that people haven’t been refunded.
However, the replies to them announcing next years dates should be a laugh

No fucking around with cheap tickets this year hopefully, straight in at decent price and then hopefully they get raised like usual as the date nears! Just a shame I couldn’t get on hotel orange any quicker....I also find it bizarre how there’s been nothing from their official accounts yet.
I’d expect an announcement or 2 this week.

I'm just looking on booking.com. no hotel orange showing for them dates or on the website and most places are looking for pay in advance.
Hotel orange are always quite late to release dates. Can only hope it’s before they’re officially announced.

Great spot!

Theres talk of medical travel passports too. I've started saving for a rainy day last minute panic buy. Just incase we get lucky
Think I’ll be doing the same for everything I’ve got planned next year. Take the holidays, save up, and make a last minute booking depending on how it’s looking.
