Watch "Paul & Linda McCartney interviewed by Norman Gunston" on YouTube
Not sure how this relic from a bygone era will go down.
Interview with Macca and very stoned Linda.

Cage the Elephant mentioned anywhere? They were a confirmed 2020 JP slot from memory

I left early on that Monday morning, battled through the traffic, got home, showered, cleaned up, had a cup of tea and ordered a pizza which arrived just as England were kicking off against Iceland…
Ended up wishing I was still in the car park queue.
We took 3 hours to get to Wells caked in mud, where the little old ladies running the BnB were "delighted" to see us.
The end of festival anticlimax plunged to depression watching Iceland take England apart.

Watch "Confidence Man - live at Golden Plains 2017" on YouTube
Not the best, obviously but just for the pure fun of it...

That's just Daltrey solo I believe.

I just saw the title and Pete Townshend in the photo and assumed it was The Who.

The Who?
06-22 Brighton, England - Brighton Centre
06-24 Oxford, England - New Theatre Oxford
06-27 Portsmouth, England - Guild Hall -
The Friday night is huge, but Jack White or Wolf Alice would be a cruel dilemma.

Trying to catch up here, and concerned about all of the "If Macca is out" contingencies.
Is there any actual reason to believe Macca is out?

I think they are free on the Sunday but I agree it is unlikely.

I had a ticket posted to Australia in 2015. The first and last time I’ll do that. It took weeks to arrive and I was convinced it had been lost. I contacted the office and arranged to pick up a replacement in a collection booth they have somewhere near PGA, but it really put a dampener on the whole experience which was supposed to be exciting.
In the end, my ticket did arrive so when I arrived I just used it and hoped they hadn’t cancelled it somehow. However clever and secure tickets are, I don’t think it’s possible for them to actually cancel it as a valid ticket, is it? I don’t recall tickets ever being scanned and cross matched with a database or anything like that.
Had similar paranoia the one time I did it, was also convinced I'd lose them travelling back to UK and developed OCD symptoms from checking up on them.

Quick question about ticket delivery. Having emigrated in 2020 this year will be our first year as a ‘foreigner’ I’m in a quandary whether to get the tickets sent to us in Luxembourg or to my parents in the UK. The post from the UK post Brexit is really quite slow so I’m wondering how far in advance do they post the tickets? I could just play it safe and get the tickets sent to my parents but that would mean a long detour to collect them and would mean coming to the UK before we had intended to.
If I was you I wouldn't take the chance. I'd get them sent to your folks house and go and give them a visit beforehand.

I last time I went was coach tickets from Reading, and we didn’t leave until 2 or 3pm Thursday so missed the entire daytime as well. Luckily our friend had put our tent up for us and taken our booze.
To the other points everyone individually got their tickets, not just the lead Booker getting everyones
Well that would be a tad disappointing if its as late as that.
Mind you, not complaining.
Better to arrive late than not at all.

We've got 6 coach tickets for this year , for the Thursday from Bath.
First time with coach tickets, so wondering if anyone would know approximately when the coaches leave?
Obviously, losing a day already, we want to get there as early as possible.

It's a fine line between keeping us in suspense and schadenfreude....that line, as I calculate it, is January 22.

Pretty much echoes a waking concern I have.
There are 6 of us coming from Melbourne, pretty much all based on my hype (over last 25 years) for the festival.
I've got no doubt the the festival will live up to the hype , but the real possible horror of a positive Covid test at the gate has me worried.
