Is the Goan Fish Curry place still there
-
Basic question:
There are 10 of us and two groups are going for tickets - if there is overlap, so that there are a couple of people being tried for by both groups; what happens if both groups successfully get into the bit where the names and numbers are being entered....does the second group get bounced out, or do they just let the ones who haven't got tix yet progress?)
(Sorry, I'm tired, and I've expressed that really badly. Hopefully someone understands.)

Just tell the school that your kids really boost your vodka shot sales

Anyone find it weird how this time last year we all seemed to have a good idea of the 3 headliners and this chat was booming.
This year nothing is set in stone and everyone is quiet?
Maybe the options aren't particularly inspiring, either?
1975 would have to be a low light for Pyramid headliners of recent years.

Slowdive had a 22 year gap between their third and fourth albums
And it was worth the wait

My Favourite is the Pyramid.
Nothing beats seeing a headliner on there.
Otherwise, I'd say The Park. Love the area.
Ditto this.
My top 3 musical experiences have all been set at Pyramid.

Neil Young?

So for those of us who weren't there....how was it?
It looked amazing

Has RATM been mentioned?

Prince Harry and Prince William for Candle in the Wind....you heard it here first.

My two lovely nieces are there for the first time, so they're sending photos and little videos to keep me amused, God bless them.

Not going this year, but managed to get two tickets for my nieces for their first ever time, so I will be living it through their eyes this time.
Have an awesome festival everyone!
B-B-B-Benny!

Rod Stewart?
Have they kissed and made up yet?

It will be brilliant, as it always is.
-
Out of interest, who pays the special guest?
Is it the festival or does it come out of the main artists fee?

Like others, Glastonbury has been very healing for me.
I had chemo in 2018 and could hardly walk, but the goal of being able to walk around the site drove my rehab.
While I'm not going this year, due to a second line of treatment, I'm planning on coming in 2024, and bringing as many friends as possible.
For me, it is as close to what I would want the afterlife to be like....music, dancing, and good fun with good folk. I think my energy doubles as I walk through the gates, and sustains for the entire duration. Very special place.
Have a great festival boredawn, I'm sure it will be very healing for you.

Great news. They haven't been here in years so it would be nice to see them, and a good option to see on Wednesday or Thursday.
Exactly, they usually play a few times over the four days

Thanks BlackZeppelin! Hope you were already going without the chaos of a 6 minute sell out yesterday?
Not this year unfortunately, fingers crossed for 2024.

Congratulations Megatronic , great to hear you got your tix.

I've been to lots of festivals, and something special occurs at Glastonbury that is utterly different to elsewhere.
Maybe its the Ley lines and the Stone Circle?
I think as long as the leadership don't succumb to sponsorship and radical commercial interest, the festival will continue to be the greatest of its ilk in the world.

Was at that gig and Macca was brilliant again. I turned to my mate who was with me last year at Glastonbury and said : " see it wasn't just the molly"
