Quite a few I would move across but some played last year. I agree with the ones you listed but I really like a lot of undercard for coach
And ya the price is a bit insane for Coach but I have it part of my annual holiday and just pop into other places in the states to and from.
Those two along with Latitude is going to make a good year!
You're going to have a great time!

Literally the only bands I'd want to poach from Coachella are Grimes, Sufjan and maybe M83. Primavera is a significant level up from it IMO (and half the price).

i should be good to buy the tickets next friday right???? dont get paid until then
In the worst case, there's bound to be someone re-selling theirs nearer the time so but it will be way more popular this year.

Bloody hell! I saw the 3 minute video at 10:00 am and afterwards and until now I've been in a meeting. I'm still digesting the line-up. WHAT A LINE-UP! They never disappoint!
Seriously, it's so good! Thanks for sharing good local information on the announcement

That Thursday lineup is so packed with amazing names, it is almost too good to be true.

Annoying that it's in half term. Will make getting holiday more tricky and bump the flights and accommodation right up. Still it's £100 cheaper than Glastonbury so consoling myself with that. What's the deal with booze? You have to buy it all on site?
You smuggle some in, which is dead easy to do.

What's the difference between Atlas Sound and Bradford Cox?
-
Yeah they are - and Ty Segall will probably put on a great show as usual.
-
Oh they've got the Sunday lineup too. No one I'm that crazy about (luckily as I'm leaving that night)

Site opens Wednesday during the day (morning I think). Would advise going to get your bands on the wednesday as the thursday sees a huge, huge queue for them. Then there is some music on the Wednesday, all on the ATP stage I am sure.
The music is not just on the ATP stage. Much of it is in venues in the city. I doubt the site opens until Wednesday afternoon and it is free for everyone that day (at the site only).

Hard not to believe will sell out easily

Based on last year around 10pm

What will do people reckon Suede will be playing on Wednesday?
Greatest hits style set.

I'm thrilled that there is no one major I want to see on Friday that would clash with Radiohead.
Looks a well balanced lineup!

Well, I'm sure I'm not the first one. I read lots of criticism for his live vocals in Radiohead message boards, some as early as 2008.
Just listen to any version of Idioteque from the 2013 tour, compare it to say the Canal 2000 performance. It's pretty much undeniable his vocal delivery has declined... not to mention Paranoid Android. Like that one, even half of the youtube comments are discussing his vocals (also it's mostly seems to be him not giving a damn, other than being unable to sing better).
You're right about that performance. Bad day in the office?

I hear a man absolutely on top of his vocal performance. And this is from last month.

Unless I'm missing someone, surely he'll be the biggest name to ever play the Auditori?
With ticket numbers to the Auditori limited, I'm afraid there won't be enough for everyone.
I think you're right that he will play outside but the Auditori has definitely hosted names as big as Brian Wilson over its 20 year history.

They're just not really consistent. I heard some good recordings and I heard ones that were painful to hear.
Genuinely that's the first time I've ever heard someone suggest that Thom Yorke isn't a good singer!

I thought he only liked to play indoors, no?
Actually, scrap that, most of his gigs are indoors but not all. Personally would still *much* prefer him at the Auditori.

Surely Brian Wilson will do the pre-headliners spot at the main stage, like Patti Smith did? He's a lot bigger than Einsturzende Neubauten.

Kamasi Washington will be in the Auditori for sure, although he's not as big as any of those.
I reckon John Carpenter would be on the ATP stage at about 3am, that would be crazy.
I think Ben Butler and Pantha du Prince too
-
So who of the bigger names do we think will play the Auditori?
Brian Wilson
Suede
John Carpenter
Richard Hawley
???
