  1. Both articles look like they came out at 1pm so hopefully a 1pm line up poster today.
  2. Oh yes....just googled and came across this... https://ukdaily.news/southhampshire/victorious-festival-unveils-second-wave-of-performers-for-southsea-summer-event-109342.html Looks like Kasabian are Saturday headliners and also... "Ben Howard, Alt-J, Pete Tong Ibiza Classics, Ellie Goulding, Friendly Fires, Blossoms and Kaiser Chiefs also join the line-up alongside previously announced Friday headliner Jamiroquai" "Also announced for Friday night are DJ legend Pete Tong, DJ Annie Mac, The Charlatans, Ellie Goulding, Blossoms, Natalie Imbruglia and Friendly Fires."
  3. No Duran Duran, Nile Rodgers or Bastille...but I suspect we already knew that!
  4. Yep, I know. Hoping for this week rather than next.
  5. I think because i'm not going to Glasto this year i'm getting more and more annoyed each day this line up doesn't drop. Unlike Glasto there is a pattern - release it already!
  6. That's Noel ruled out then. Onto the next....
  7. Altho....just looked at his website, he's in Manchester on Sat 26th.
  8. Well...if he's free he's relatively close by. Might aswell pop onstage at Vic
  9. On his way down to Portsmouth for the weekend??
  10. Use Justpark and find a close by car park that's cheap. We did that last year and parked near a Uni building. Walked about 10-15 mins to the site. Parking was something like £9 per day.
  11. Oh gosh, that far off? I was going off last years being on 8th Feb and 2020s (moved to 2021) being 3rd Feb.
  12. Are we thinking Friday for line up announcement or next week sometime?
  13. I wish this line up came out after Victorious'. I've got hyped for a Prodigy return to Vic and will be sad if it doesn't happen
  14. I'm buzzing for Jamiroquai. I know not everyones cup of tea but was a big part of my youth
  15. I've decided I'd very much like a trio of Jamiroquai, Little Simz and Kasabian headlining Victorious this year.
  16. Does IoW and Victorious not have the same acts?
  17. Is it usually just Kendal, Tramlines and Truck that we usually look at for Line up ideas? Just read the following..... Providence Equity-owned Superstruct owns and operates more than 30 large scale festivals and live music events globally. They include the UK’s Victorious Festival (100,000), South West Four (20,000), Kendal Calling (25,000), Truck (10,000), Tramlines (40,000) and Boardmasters (50,000), along with Croatian festival Hideout (15,000), Sziget (95,000) in Hungary, Flow (10,000) in Finland and Oya (15,000) in Norway. ...do we look at crossovers from the likes of Boardmasters, Sziget etc? Sziget looks to have a much bigger budget. Amyl and the Sniffers are at a few of these as well as Victorious. Would love some Frank Carter and the Rattlesnakes and IDLES at Victorious.
  18. I'd love to see some Garbage, Placebo, Skunk Anansie and the like on the line up. Doubtful but would be good nostalgia
  19. Not been before....is it the festival of clashes? It looks it from that stage split
  20. Looking at Kendal and the potential crossover...Kaiser Chiefs, Happy Mondays and Natalie Imbruglia as the 'special afternoon guests'?
  21. Maybe Dua Lipa? Or too big of a name/pricey? I did have a thought about Chemical Brothers earlier on today too but unsure. Especially as at IOW
