My group and I had a sensational time watching Hot Chip, despite having to deal with a guy who thought he was in LA Airport.
I knew the Springsteen cover was coming, but All My Friends is a kind of the group anthem so when that kicked in we were in ecstasy!
Perfect Friday headliner.

Picked up my power bar in brum - gonna pick up some snacks and head home for a band of brothers dvd night then tomorrow s**t gets real
Just re-watched that for the third time, absolutely cracking series.
To add to my nerves, half of our party just got their Asda delivery cancelled because Amex thought an order of 150+ cans of Strongbow and snacks must be fraud. Panic stations!

Can confirm - we usually buy tobacco on site as it's far cheaper than any of or local shops. I believe a tin of the Amber Leaf was £3.50 the last 2 years.

Do we think they'll put a back on the Other Stage or will they keep it old school and leave it open?

I'm a nervous wreck, which is normal at this point.
3 night's terrible sleep and I'm feeling pretty rough. Having a terrible day at work too.
Got the whole day off before we leave tomorrow though, so at least I can relax and get excited. 48hr time and all will be good..

Last I saw of him he was knocking an Efests mug off the table and breaking it.
Then I'll presume the worst

I'm not getting off the fence until I hear from Big Dog. Where is he?

The sign, the ribbons, the colour, the Sun! A very exciting scene on the farm this morning indeed!

I'm doing alright. To be honest I was laid in bed last night wondering whether I could be arsed with it all. How bad is that!?
I think it's the thought of packing, travelling, probability of rain, numerous clashes and all the stuff I have to arrange beforehand that's taking the edge off.

no the old stir the pot because im fucking bored trick.........one of which your a master of yourself russy so pot kettle sunshine? try to smile wont you

Given that Friday night holds my biggest concentration of clashes, I really hope it's someone I don't care for.
They should probably move SFA over there from the Park tbh

Username - It's a song by The National and because I was born in November, it kind of became my personal anthem. This was cemented when Matt (the front man) dragged me through the crowd in his arms while singing it.
Favourite poster - Matt42's enthusiasm and wild speculation are what this board is all about. He's got a lot of stick from the grumpy end of the member spectrum, but that hasn't stopped him. Probably more than anyone on here, I hope he has a great time on the farm.

I really wonder if they are just gonna fly Dave back to the UK and only do the wembley and Glasto shows...
You mean you really HOPE....

I was grinning like an idiot the whole show until the LH/Top Gear section. I forgot just how anarchic it was.
Relevantly though, Daltrey sounded terrible - why the American accent? - and looked really awkward. Rudimental are dreadful. Thats the first I've seen of them and my god they're poor.

I bought more canned ales - Beavertown Bloody El x3, Neck Oil x2 and a Gamma Ray, Flying Dog Easy IPA x2 and a couple of Camden Hells Lager.
Did some research into bands who are playing, but I'm unfamiliar with. Pointless task, as I've no time to go see them, but fun all the same.

Having a breakdown, unable to cope with the pressure of deciding whether the evening will be spent at The Park or West Holts

Goat, Chems or RTJ
What do RTJ shows entail to make the good? Except decent tunes, obviously

I have seen some fucking excellent shows on that stage, never EVER had a problem with sound there. I really don't get the comments about the sound, maybe just me!
If you're too far back and there's wind, you can certainly tell.

Well, it was the NME stage for a good while - tbf I still think thats a better name than its current one.
This might be the most offensive thing I've ever read on here

When Public Service Broadcasting played The Other Side I was coming up, so that's always going to be memorable. Just had it on while sat on a train and it brought me to tears. Perfect set, so glad we chose that over Jon Hopkins.
