Both times I've seen The Wytches they've been pretty underwhelming however the first time was when they supported Future of the Left two years ago and the other was a sunny midday slot on the main stage of Field Day
Might go to the Ramsgate date though, if only to support the venue
Black Honey are really decent on record, haven't had a chance to see them live yet but I've heard good things
Whilst we're on the topic of good tours
Tickets are on sale now for our Euro/UK co-headline tour with @mewithoutYou: /WSzIngrNiH pic.twitter.com/ys0frInCaU

Just after they released their last album it took them a while to sell out Brixton IIRC but then by the end of their campaign they sold out Earls Court; they are probably sub-size now
-
I went to one of the listening parties for the new Libertines album and people just talked over it the whole night, but to be honest it's the sort of album that can be talked over

Rock singles have struggled to sell ever since physical releases were for all intent and purpose phased out
One for the Road got to 112 in the UK charts; does that mean AM was an unsuccessful album and Arctic Monkeys aren't big enough to headline any more?
Personally, having listened to the album I don't think it's of the right calibre for Foals to step up as a headliner off the back of it; they'd struggle to keep a casual fan's attention for 90 minutes
Furthermore, their debut at no. 3 under second week sales of Jess Glyne is a surprisingly poor performance
Let them sub next year, blow people away and then deliver a brilliant headline set a few years down the line

On the last arena tour KoL did tickets were going for about half price on resale websites a good few weeks before the shows
-
I reckon the tour will get announced very soon; they don't need to wait until after their November stint as it's completely sold out, if anything it'll help combat tout prices
-
So really this festival is only going to sell to those who are happy to part with £50 to catch Asking Alexandria and Black Veil Brides
Well I'm sure they're both delighted
-
I think under her Dead Petz moniker she could probably sub the Other stage; I read that her Bangerz tour sold pretty poorly in the UK and this change in sound will in all certainty lead to a nosedive in popularity
I'm sure that she'd draw a crowd far smaller than Mark Ronson

And you could see Moose Blood + Black Foxxes for about £4
That's how much I've paid to see Creeper at least
-
I really enjoyed The Prodigy at Alexandra Palace but then again I was so hyped to see them I probably would have been happy with them playing behind the bins of my local Tesco
-
Hinds were magnificent last night; ended in a stage invasion and the whole crowd chanting their name, the band couldn't believe it
Also the new Bring Me the Horizon album seems to be taking influences from every band I like but simplifying their elements and applying my 13-year old Bebo posts as lyrics

After looking at the Ray Davies setlist I'm a bit sore about missing him
Shouldn't have got so Gillespie'd on the Saturday
-
£5 for a Carling is pretty dire however the selection at the beer festival tent made up for it
Took a while to be served though -
Found the crowd to be really good around us for Primal Scream; definitely made up for their last Glasto performance
-
A friend of mine managed to grab me a ticket at 9:30am, the venue for Margate is only 600 cap too
-
Well that was a shower of shite
-
Rebranded Apple Music Festival; artists currently announced are Florence + the Machine, Disclosure, Pharrell Williams and One Direction, more TBA
-
Gonna go to the Margate date; one of the very few benefits of living in Medway
-
Yeah managed to make two of them
Went to the official Fall of Math show at KOKO and a gig the night before at The Brook in Southampton; it wasn't advertised as a Fall of Math show but they did a dry run -
I'm always very excited when seeing 65daysofstatic, The Fall of Math is one of my all-time favourite albums
-
If anyone ends up with a spare Faithless ticket for Alexandra Palace then I'd be very very interested in buying it and a pint for the seller
-
Wilderness is apparently not affected

First Great Western strike means trains are going to be non-existent on the Sunday after the festival
Just booked up a Megabus from Bristol to London for my friend and I which came to £6 each
The strike may get cancelled but it's definitely a safer bet to book arrangements now rather than later

Was told some info by a friend that almost definitely rules out Florence + the Machine for R&L; they'll be elsewhere apparently
