Would definitely second trying before you buy. The boots I thought I wanted didn't work for me at all. Also despite being a size 5-6 usually I ended up getting a size 7, which I never would have gone for without trying them on. Worked out cheaper too, as we got a great discount.

Any opinions on this pair? Great reviews, although apparently they don't stay completely waterproof for more than a year or so.
-
Got some new clothes off eBay, as I suspect nothing I took last year will fit (due to me eating all of the pies.....).

Drive down Tuesday morning from Chichester, mooch around Glastonbury for the day, early night in the Premier Inn then leave probably around 5ish to head to the site.

Six in total, hubby and I arriving Wednesday to set up for us all, one more arrive on Thursday, the rest on Friday. Dreading setting up for everyone!

I don't mind a bit of rain, but if it's looking like it will be a muddy one then my hubby won't be coming (due cerebral palsy that affects his walking, not because he dissolves in mud....). Since the two of us are setting up tents for our whole group of six this year if he doesn't come I'm screwed! So desperate for it to be dry!
-
Having arthritis means the walking can get difficult but I refuse to use a walking stick - just seems like an old persons' accessory. So I have purchased this. Discrete enough to put in my bag and light weight.

so long as it's not TOO muddy I suppose!!

Mines not showing the deposit. I reckon what you've done is enter the ref # they sent you in October. I used the one from the email I got when I paid the balance earlier in the month.
Relax we are all going lol

One of these.... http://www.gooutdoors.co.uk/campingaz-smart-double-airbed-p293574?gclid=CKOtqNzfi74CFUmWtAodsFQAuA the pillows lift up so you can stash all your valuables, and no one is getting in there without waking you. Also comfy!

Is this about glastonbury or not?
Last year Zane's show started at 7 just as the lineup dropped so he reported the news 'as it happened' I don't think it was an exclusive. He did have an interview with the Rolling Stones if I remember correctly.

Chatting to a friend who is coming with us and OH MY GOD I'M SO EXCITED.

I had a whiz freedom last year till I dropped it (accidentally) down a long drop... However was so impressed by the wateraid model that I've bought a pstyle (google it) and its so much easier to use (especially if wearing trousers - no undressing necessary) that I'm a total convert!-

Today I have booked a room and the Glastonbury Premier in for the Tuesday night, and completed two online orders (efests shop and amazon) which pretty much completes my festival shop apart from booze. Stupidly organised this year!
-
You can order it seperately - I did mine last week, just annoying that it's another £7 admin fee!
-
Just booked the Premier Inn, driving for the first time and have been worrying about logistics and when to leave, now looking forward to driving up on the Tuesday morning, relaxing and an explore in the afternoon, early night then heading to the site early Wednesday.
-
Definitely worth getting your own, I took this one last year and it was the best decision I've ever made!
-
I still consider myself a lurker - been on here about four years (previously with a different username that i forgot!) and posting a bit more often over the last month or two but often scared to join in a lot of conversations where there are lots of regulars, not sure I've got much of interest to say so just enjoy reading it all instead!

Oops double post

Oh and just for the record - one browser, one tab, one normal broadband internet connection.
The secret is in the refresh....

Haha the Glastonbury Ticket Ninja, brilliant!
Loving the tea-cosy by the way!
