  1. Don't wanna' disrupt your argument, but what about Pixies thrown in as a bit of a curveball? I've seen a few people say they could sub but tbh I couldn't see them taking any slot other than a headline? Or is it pretty much confirmed that foo's, Kasabian and the Cure are headlining now?

  2. Mainstage, along with Flo, Kaisers, Ten D & Black Keys, I'd say a few of Korn, The Darkness, Feeder, Lostprophets, YMA6, Garbage, possibly Placebo. (all could have been at Download/V but aren't) The Cribs are pretty likely, will probably slot under Kaisers as they supported a few of their shows. Vaccines will pop up somewhere, as will Ash, who are there every couple years. Not really expecting Pixies along with everyone else, would be brilliant but no upcoming gigs, couldn't see them bother just doing the one European festival unfortunately. Same with Dinosaur Jr., could see a J Mascis solo show, but not on main.

For the NME stage, my opinion would be that Justice will be this year's dance headliner (due to the amount NME have carried on about them), with TDCC below. Maccabees and Foster the People against the heavier mainstage day, and At The Drive In headlining NME while Kasabian are on. Then a few of the NME awards tour/shows bands littered about, apart from Azealia Banks who may be more likely on the Dance Stage.

Lockup - Refused and maybe Dropkick Murphys. Dance stage - who knows.

FR could be anyone's really, Mark Lanegan seems likely, maybe Flaming Lips or Bon Iver headlining too. Bit of a weird one with Lana Del Rey but she's announced for a couple of things in UK so why not.

  3. Those of you who've seen them live, did they do that gimmick where they take people out of the crowd and get them onstage playing their instruments? Or the guitar playing with teeth?

When I saw them at '04, I thought that was awesome but I was only a young 'un then, and come to think of it I'd find it a bit tedious this time around.

  4. Thing is I agree that the last two albums were poor, they lost that simplicity to thier music that made them a great act. Now they seem to write songs in a more constructed way and have become a completely different band and for me a shadow of thier former selves. I'd still watch them though if they headlined. But I'd be more interested in thier older stuff.
