  1. Yeah Glastonbury is a completely different ballpark to this. The registration is to manage the ticket sale process - not being able to sell your ticket is just a spin off of that. They could easily implement a system to do that if they wanted to. And its only your postcode you're giving over.

This is a legal document with the bulk of your identity on it, which they're asking for in exchange for getting in to an event which people paid for *years* ago with no knowledge of this requirement.

Same reason you can't sell your ticket on eBay, they don't like people selling tickets for marked up prices so your ID is attached to your ticket.

I bought one of mine via someone here and Dice traded the ticket between accounts but specifically said they did not want me to pay more than RRP.

That's ridiculous though. Nowhere else does that.

Do we think they will add a second London date on the Friday? I can’t do any of their UK dates, currently looking into flying to Milan to see them.

    I'd have thought so.

Do they still have gigs at the GMEX? Remember seeing AF play there on The Suburbs.

Not often - think when Arlo Parks and Damon Albarn played last year for MIF those were the first gigs there for five or six years

Hey! With tickets on sale today at 3pm, is anyone that already holds festival tickets going to buy any La Cuitat tickets for guaranteed entry? I may have misunderstood but I would like to guarantee my entry for the Phoenix night without having to worry about arriving early or queues. I know these tickets today are for non festival goers, but not the craziest idea to try snag a ticket for a night you really would like locked in.

Those tickets are being put on general sale, wouldn't feel bad about buying one.

Would 100% recommend Gerona. You can get a 35 minutes train and it's such a beautiful city. You can see where they filmed some of the "Shame!" scene in Game of Thrones and the stairs up to King's Landing. There's a nice big park and there's even an amazing lake not far form the city called Lake Banyoles. One of my favourite day trips for sure.

If you want to stay coastal, I'd recommend Sitges, Sant Pol de Mar and Tossa de Mar.

😄 I hate Game of Thrones 😄 My mates love it though, and I can always appreciate something like that, so that does sound good. Cheers!

  6. Sunday and Monday look pretty dead for me, but that's good because I can't be arsed spending a weeks holiday queuing up for gigs anyway. The Ride and Phoenix night is a must though.

On another topic, can anyone recommend any good day trips from Barca? Montserrat, Vic and Tarragona all look nice and doable within an hour or so on the train. Anything else?

Why would they not play three days? I call legit.

It would be pretty lame if they're having to actively turn down bands for decent-sized slots (e.g Parcels) due to pandemic-related backlog whilst simitaneously having a band like IDLES play... three times. I don't know if they'd go for that.

Might not be as bad if they're playing, say, Shangri-la and Williams Green but that seems a tad unrealistic now.

I imagine its just them not giving away the date they're actually playing.

Was it both of them with the flashlights?

I really only noticed the guy on the right. I didn't mind the swimming pool style, elevated security, but the flashlight for no apparent reason was so annoying. Clearly wasn't for people on shoulders, as he ignored that. Man was on a power trip, blinding us all night long.

Metronomy were insane though 10/10. The crowd made that a very special one. Glad I went, as I doubt their show at Glasto could match that.

I was also stood on the right hand side so only really noticed that guy, but I had a mate stood over on the left who said he got targetted by the other dude when he put someone up on his shoulders.

Coming back to this, if she is Friday she'll need to be earlier on in the day as she's elsewhere in the afternoon/evening.

Her Block Party set is Sunday night - still a potential for Saturday? I forget what other info we have.

She was supposed to be playing Colourbloxx on the Saturday, but I see that's now been cancelled (probably too late in the day for Glasto though). Where is she on the Friday?

  10. Saw Metronomy at Ally Pally on Saturday. Were fantastic, old stuff sounding as good as ever and the new tunes are great fun live.

What's up with the two dickhead security guards who stand on stepladders either side of the stage and shine torches in people's faces all gig though? Proper pig behaviour that. Needs getting rid of pronto.

Is the general verdict that he's going to have a backing band then? Love Kendrick but I think I'd only want to watch him live if so.

He’ll definitely have a live band. Whether they get shoved off to the side like the last tour or not is another question.

That new tune is decent. Shame it won’t be on the album tbh
