They're entitled idiots because they are disappointed with the line up. Really
So what ? They don’t have to go.

Their Instagram post is pretty negative. Certainly more negative than I can ever remember on an announcement.
Entitled idiots that should try and put on their festival.

ah yes, thanks
For me, they are the strongest headliners so it’s a good start.
King Gizz will hopefully be Saturday.

where is that?
Confirmed on email just sent.

Wilco are Thursday headliners

Its a top line which could go either way for me. But then if they are boring on the woods, can easily get to the garden stage for the other bands!
I assume future islands are the Thursday headliner.
You would hope so although you could argue it could be Wilco or UMO too

Strong lineup on the whole

If The Walkmen play they are nowhere near headline size. They'd be Garden headliners at best.
Future Islands are not headlining
We will know in twenty minutes

Would be pretty poor if true for me...but tbh even speculating for months we've struggled to come up with an inspiring list of headliners ourselves...just one of those years maybe. Sure the undercard will be the usual high quality.
I thinks that the thing
I rarely like (or watch) all the headliners anyway
Future Islands seems a weird choice considering their size unless they play Thursday.

My other concern would be, and this applies to the Walkmen as well, that all the likeliest headliner names we've heard are those of acts who've played the festival before.
Not sure that’s an issue if it’s a good choice.
Future Islands has come from someone on Drowned In Sound.

It's a little odd. Wilco and Gizzard have always been fun when I've seen them. Not sure what future islands is all about. No walkmen apparently
The Walkmen seemed nailed on unless they anticipate selling out the two London dates and adding more
It could also be a troll

That’s not the worst set of headliners, in my opinion.
I’m easily pleased, I think
It’s not awful at all but just not very inspiring
Wilco are a superb pick for me but the other two don’t really float my boat. I may watch KG but they have loads of material so hard to keep up.
Future Islands just aren’t very good in my opinion.

They had an officially approved resale site last year. Dont think it was twickets
early rumours of future islands, king gizzard, wilco for headliners which would be underwhelming but its about the overall experience not just who’s headlining
That’s very true.
It’s weirdly male dominated so hopefully Angel Olsen is the fourth headliner.

Just went onto look at my early bird ticket to look at selling it. It's on ticketsellers which im not sure is a service im familiar with, or if they used it last year. Anyone know how easy it is to sell a ticket because so far it says they wont provide the eticket until closer to the time which is very frustrating.
You sell via twickets as it’s official partner of festival unless you pass on privately

Wilco and Angel Olsen to headline, watch this space..
Wilco for the Thursday is peoples guess

The Smile could happen - I had a feeling about this before

I still hope Yeah Yeah Yeahs play

Wonder who's adding these. I know it seems fairly obvious to think the Walkmen and Wilco might be playing from their other activity but Gwenno too is a curveball (not that she wouldn't be but there's nothing obvious to say so except she's also at Moseley Folk, subbing Squeeze on the Friday)
Surely it’s just assumption for all three.
Gwenno is no different go Wilco.

Thing is, before this I had them down as another of those acts who'd be around for Green Man rather than EOTR, as they've previously been announced for Paredes de Coura that same weekend, also having played EOTR twice and not GM - and you'd think if they were around then they'd be playing Strokes day APE.
The paperwork getting back into Uk might make that tight

I tell you what, if people are hailing the return of the Walkmen, you’re not wrong.
Mardy by name, mardy by nature

I remain hopeful that Les Filles de Illighadad have sorted their visa issues and can play this time.
Really want Moin and HTRK to get booked. John Carroll Kirby, Coby Sey, William Basinski, Carla Dal Forno, Space Afrika, Maxine Funke, mui zyu, Sofia Kourtesis, Slift.
How about someone like Duster?
Duster and Moin are great shouts
-
The Delgados might play ?
-
The Murder Capital will play I think
-
Wilco / Big Thief / Angel Olsen / Young Fathers seems a pretty decent guess. I would love to see The Walkmen, Osees, Ty added as well. Yeah Yeah Yeahs will play GM

I disagree.
You don’t have to air your opinion negatively about something that has taken people months to sort. It’s their job for starters.
