You too, suspect we could write a small book of confused meanderings
I fear that the book wouldn't actually be that small at all.

Bravo - a spectacular result.

Here's another fabulous piece of work;

Could you gaffer tape the pole vertically to the backpack ( if you were to do it horizontally you could end up on manslaughter charges)?

Depends how warm the room is, it's not nice waking up cold and wet 😉
I once woke up to find myself lying on double yellow lines in a lorry loading bay. Not a very comfortable. However, I was lucky that it was a Sunday morning and there were no deliveries.

Small wet patch like that, I'd have just got the hair dryer out...again.
I'd have gone for the sucking the moisture up while sleeping approach. I don't mean with my mouth, in some deviant like manner. I mean by osmosis through the skin. That's what I'd say to myself to justify doing nothing about it before jumping into the scratcher.

Update on the can over the bed situation, I fessed up and my sister said don’t worry because she was planning on washing the sheets anyway 😂 🙉

I've just spotted the date. I now know it's current.

I've just stumbled across this
Not sure if its been mentioned before, or not. In fact, I'm not even sure if it's current. I popped my details in anyway.

No, sorry. I have 3 young children, so am well used to removing all sorts of things from all sorts of places. Add to that that I cloth nappied them (and if you ever need to know how to remove a stain or fix a washing machine, the cloth nappy groups are the place to go), and I have a pretty decent base level of stain removal knowledge.
And before you say I should get out more...if only I had my golden ticket this year...I'm impressed. I can understand that necessity dictated such an in depth knowledge. My bathroom's probably seen more cocaine than it has powdered Harpic *.
* - fortunately not true. i just thought it would sound amusing.

At Glasto we were watching the chemical brothers on the other stage. I felt a warm patch in my wellie, he thought he was peeing in a pint cup but it was going directly into my wellie….at least he didn’t pee on the land! 😂🙈
Oh, how glorious. You should buy him a pair of incontinence pants for his birthday. He sounds like a star.

It is simply not fair that I have run out of upvotes.

Own up. Depending on which cider it is, rinse the fabric off. If you can take the cover off, do so, and run water through it. Either way, then soak up the liquid (use muslins if you have them, tea towels and towels otherwise). Repeat. Do not rub at it, just dab (you can use lots of pressure). Then sprinkle liberally with bicarb of soda. Allow it to absorb the liquid (at least 20 mins, can be left for hours or overnight). You can then hoover up, and repeat as necessary.
If the stain remains, then you have the options of mineral bleach (percarbonate of soda) and/or the sun (the sun is great for removing tomato and berry stains).Hope that helps!
Tell me you had to look that up?

Either BiCarb or Soda..

Hahaha brilliant 😂 One of my best friends went on a date, went back to the guys house and pissed the bed drunk. Water damaged the dates phone then turned up at my flat in a blind panic needing a change of clothes. The only things I had that fit him was a pair of leggings and Welsh rugby jersey so he had to go home wearing them 😂😩🙈 Needless to say he never met the date guy again 😂
That's a fabulous performance by your mate. Top shelf stuff.

I can't lie either. eg. I tell people in supermarkets etc that they have given me too much change, when they do so.

Honestly is the best policy! I can’t lie for sh*t so will probably admit defeat tomorrow and hand myself in 😂
It could be worse - apparently my wife used to regularly piss the bed in houses where she was a guest. Her record is three beds in the same house in one night.*
* she actually stopped when we got together and has never repeated the act since.

I volunteer these days, so annoyingly my sack truck that has served through many muddy pushes and pulls on and offsite has enjoyed a bit of a retirement in my mate's shed. i'm parked in the field next to where oxfam camp, its no more than a five minute wander at the very, very most from tent to car so i can bring a foamy mattress, a duvet, a variety of eats, and all the spare socks a centipede would need.
I've done my hard yards in hiking 40 kilos over two miles of rutted slush, thankfully 😄

Sounds ace.
Enjoy your comfortable Glasto.*
* - I recall the hard yards you mention.

The previous cheese comp they gave a coupon confirming a competition entry, probably overthinking it but I’m worried my beers and cheese haven’t been entered
It may sound mad (but probably not on this thread), but I'm wondering if it would be worth you sending out an email to their Customer Services Department asking for confirmation / clarification?

I haven't read the whole of this thread but somewhere got the impression that last year they gave confirmation, but that doesn't seem to be the case this year. That's a sh*t show, that is. Don't they 'know'!?
