Haha this sale is up to £720 and has 4 days to run, which is far too much. I remember all this a few years back where GFL (allegedly) would be bidding on tickets and not paying.
IMO i think this sale will be pulled or fail completely.

Picked up my tickets from the sorting office this morning, but I got a Car Park pass instead of a campervan ticket. Great, how difficult can this be, the tickets are attached to a piece of paper telling the morons what to put in the envelope.
Rang See, they said they will send out a campervan pass, but could take 2 weeks. Now I have got 2 weeks of worry while they sort it out.

I've not heard of the A361 being closed. Are you sure about that?

Browsing the official Glasto website and it mentions that campervans/caravans can only enter by the blue route,the A37,we usually come in through Street from the M5 on the A361,it looks well out of the way for us coming from the north of England,are they strict on this or could we come our usual way and still get in the caravan fields ok?

I just phoned them and they checked both of our registration numbers and they are still showing as active.
I've phoned twice just to be sure!

Just listening to all their stuff now, on the Sun Giant EP at the moment, I might wander over to see them whatever stage they are on.
Noticed they are playing Wolves Civic on the Thursday, won't be able to make that as I will be enjoying a pint of Brothers Cider in a field in Somerset

As I am the one being chastised here for my potential actions, and as I have the opportunity to remove said items from the campervan prior to the festival I will do.

I seem to keep buying stuff this year. Every few days I seem to trawl the internet for any Glastonbury "essentials". The amount of essentials in the garage is unbelievable, I've even had to get a bigger backpack. I need to stop. Help me someone.

I had Argentinian Steak which was fantastic, and Kangaroo burgers which I love, Kangaroo is a lovely rich tasting meat. If you are a meat eater I would say try Kangaroo, plus is it the 2nd lowest fat meat after camel, so its probably good for you

I had some pint glasses confiscated in 2004 along with all the sharp kitchen knives. The next year I hid everything to save having to take it out of the van. So it saves time if you take everything out of sight before you get there

I would seriously suggest parking on the West side if you are taking this. Pulling this back up the "Hill of Death" on the East side would not be easy

Its not really a problem, the only 2 questions for me would be, are their bands playing that they like and are ou prepared to let them go off on their own.

Is Avalon an outside stage like the other stage or the pyramid or is it a tent like the John Peel?

I think most of us take this site for granted and would be devastated if it stopped. I imagine that most people like myself have no idea about the cost of running the site.
BTW - I actually like Special K !!!

Both me and my neighhbour bought our tickets on the first T day and I got mine 2 weeks ago and she is still waiting. weird but I am sure they will turn up soon
