A campervan broke down blocking the route.

Ah, I remember now. It did feel like loads of campervans were going past compared to cars getting out, hopefully it'll be smoother this year. As I say, I've never had any problems before

Our first time at BT this year, is there usually trauma leaving the site?

I've not experienced it before last year but it took us hours to get out on Monday morning. Normally it's fine so something clearly went wrong. The rumour amongst those getting annoyed in their cars was that there was no-one at the gate to stop the campervans every now and then to let other traffic out.

    Any insights?

  4. There are alternatives to dance out there after hours, but apart from the odd act on Hell/Truth/Peace, it's mainly in smaller places. Various forms of dance have the spectacles like Arcadia, Levels, IICON, Temple etc. If you're after something guitary, you'll watch a pub band in a small tent and be thankful for it.

Worth noting I didn’t see a single puddle and whilst the grass was wet, the ground under it was firm. All will be fine 😊

I've just been for a walk by us and fields that were almost unpassable a few weeks ago had almost dried up.

Just a personal thing for me. I can see a band with replacement members (although original lineup is far preferable) but continuing without a lead singer just seems odd and is a step too far for me.

mind you people still go see adam lambert’s queen 😂

A couple of years ago, The Quireboys sacked lead singer Spike, the only original member left in the band, and continued to tour as The Quireboys.

He has since regrouped with some of the original band members and tours as The Quireboys.

    It's very confusing.

Considering I wasn't exactly blown away by the line up finding loads of stuff I used to love on the bill havent listened to for ages and a decent amount of newer bands I want to see so well up for it now.

Good stuff. I always listen to everyone at least once and compile a list with a brief note next to each. It's noticeable just how few I've completely written off as I've worked my way through this year.

Clashfinder is indicating I'll be very busy, now looking for gaps where I can nip back to the tent or just do nothing for a spell.

Look at me go................. I might be on holiday but here is the updated clashfinder.

Extra act every day on The Meadow so guessing it opens earlier. Woodland also has an extra act Fri and Sun so times taken from Saturday.

CODA is total guesswork apart from the comedy.

As and when I get more info I will update it.

WOW thanks so much for posting this - do you know if the per-day acts - or set-times have been announced yet, or do you think this is just guessing?

    (Getting excited now reading this!)

They'll mainly be guesswork. A few acts have confirmed their times but the full day splits/stage times won't come until the end of May.

  10. I've listened to almost every acts on the main 3 stages now, and it really is a superb line-up.

A couple of acts that I've never heard of before but are now on my must see list, Meryl Streek and Slope.

Tomorrow I make a start on Convot Cabaret!

Surely a Morrison's is better than the Co-op? Is that not a thing? I know that the Co-op around here sells stuff that's more expensive than the M & S around here.

In theory, yes. I was just mucking about, but they are very similar to be honest.
