Only 1 map? I’d have guessed late May was normal time for that. Not disputing data of course, more my wavy memory!

With all due respect, you must be an extremely casual fan if that was the case.

Not at all, but you have to make choices. I had no chance of a final ticket and already had one for the festival.

I could have left the festival, got a taxi to a pub, probably be surrounded by people who want them to lose, (as it turned out) watch them lose, get a taxi back.

Or, I could keep tabs on the score while watching Robert Plant.

Maybe it comes from supporting a team that frequently reached European finals.

  3. Music always takes precedence over football for me. I've even missed watching my own team in Champions League finals while I've seen at a festival. The thought of giving up 2 or more hours of Glastonbury for an Enland last 16 game is completely alien to me.

Didnt they show the women's games a few years ago?

That was on the Thursday. They've not shown any on Friday to Sunday since 2010. The festival attendance has increased significantly since then and the field they used for the Sunday England v Germany game is now (I think) camping.

  5. Where we normally camp in Paines, it was noticeably more packed in this year. There was no clear pathway out to the path without stepping over corners of tents etc.

I'd say you'd be lucky to get anything sizeable in there, South Park is probably a more viable option.

Could you please not bring this up again? I'm still flippin' scarred from waking up that morning and someone in our camp telling us the news. My exclamation at ridiculous volume of "YOU'RE f**kING JOKING!!!" has become part of Camp lore.

    Ben

Made a nice change from "SORT YOUR f**kING TENT OUT!"

I'm sure there'll be lots of info on here about applying for a postal vote if there is a general election on 27/6 👍 it'll be like the brexit referendum year again, only hopefully without the dreadful friday waking up to the realisation of living in a small insular country full of bloody idiots (again!)

Some of the stuff around Glastonbury attendees not voting in the referendum was laughable. Even if no-one had done a postal vote (everyone I knew had done) and an extra 210,000 people had voted remain, it wouldn't have made any difference to the outcome.

    Leave 17,410,742 / Remain 16,141,241

    Remain with an extra 210,000 = 16,351,241‬

  8. Fulu Miziki, the act that performed each day at Carhenge are back. Also confirms the area itself is returning (not that there was much doubt it wouldn't) as they posted it on their Instagram.

  9. We do 2 trips but the 2nd one is Thursday morning. Because I park up Tuesday night, we're normally parked pretty close to the entrance and can do the round trip in an about an hour. Especially for my 2 lads, this is a big money saver as they'll then have their drinks for the 5 days.

It is though why I'm thinking of getting an extra trolley, we could do it in 1 go that way.

Advert gives dimensions - hub length 55mm and axel 20mm.

Just measure the existing wheels to see it it'll fit.

I can't tell from your pics how the wheel is held on tro the axel but often it's just washer with a split pin going through a hole in the axel so the hub on the replacement wheel needs to be of a similar width for the axel to protude such that the hoie for the split pin can be used

    Yeah, it's a split pin.
