Bringing this topic back from the dead a little but is there now a bigger chance of them being headliners this year? It has been 4 years and before everyone complains about how bad they were, they are still ridiculously popular and a mini comeback would be a huge thing for reading and leeds to get this year. They did say they were going to play festivals and since most of the major festivals have now announced their headliners, it could happen. thoughts?

If you look at the previous UK tours 30 seconds have done the venues are almost identical to the ones paramore played and they managed to get a sub-headline slot last year. And they probably sold as many tickets to their last arena tour as mcr did....

I went to see MCR back in October at the Edinburgh corn exchange and they were brilliant but I don't really see how they can change that stripped back style of gig into a set that would be suited to headline R & L

Damon Albarn has stated that Gorillaz are going to be playing UK gigs this summer, does this highten the chance of them playing?

"At the moment I wouldn't want to play Glastonbury or something because I'd be setting myself a very high benchmark but we're definitely going to play some big gigs in the UK or in England or in London this year,"
