  1. As other have pointed it's a different festival but with TITP they have put on Texas as a headliner mainly beacuse they are Scottish and the same with The Fratellis being bumped to subs when everyone else had them as 3rd/4th the same year. Biffy wouldn't care about being headline status as they played Glasto this year when they were already headliners.

And Biffy haven't even been announced as TITP headliners, this is only people's speculation.

  2. Should Blink 182, Arcade Fire and GnR really be in this list?

  5. I finally took the plunge and bought one of the £99 tickets (which yes are still on sale). This will be my first Rock Ness and I'm really looking forward to it because the line up has always interested me but I've just never taken the plunge. I hope Daft Punk play but will take most of the ideas brought up in this thread :D

  6. I really enjoyed Leeds this year and will probably go back again one year but that all depends on the line up :)

I've tried 3 different festivals so far so I will probably try a different 2 next year unless Sonisphere, T in the park or Leeds pull of a line up that suits me again. People that go to the same festival regardless because it's convenient to them actually annoy me <_< Is that just me?

  7. Top 3 (Leeds)

Muse - Origin of Symmetry in full was simply mindblowing, Citizen Erased live made my life :D

The National - Simply brilliant, I don't understand other people on this  I was a few rows from the front and it was just special.

Elbow - Beautiful set. The marriage proposal during One Day Like This was probably the moment of the weekend

Honourable mentions to the superb Pulp (Jarvis is simply a hero among men), MCR, Tim Minchin and SBTRKT

    Bottom 3

The View - Just a bit of a mess.

Deftones - Heard so many great things about them live and they were just dull.

The Strokes - They came out all guns blazing but ran out of steam very quickly. Disappointing.

  8. This was my first Leeds festival and I had a great time. My one complaint about the crowd came on Sunday when The National were on.

I love the national and I was surrounded by twats singing Strokes songs, shouting randomly and quoting the Inbetweeners film. If I didn't actually like the Strokes myself I would have left straight after the National.

Having said that I did meet some fellow National fans who sung their hearts out with me, That made it much better :D

  9. My prediction based on nothing

    Uprising

    Starlight

    Hysteria

Something of Showbiz (Showbiz, Muscle Museum, Unintended)

    New Born

    Bliss

    Space Dementia

    Hyper Music

    Plug In Baby

    Citizen Erased

    Micro Cuts

    Screenager

    Darkshines

    Feeling Good

    Megalomania

    Take a Bow

    Time is Running out

    Stockholm Syndrome

    Knights of Cydonia

  10. Just go! There'll be an eFest camp organised nearer the time where people off here will camp together and ahve an amazing laugh. I went to rockness 07 on my own and met some amazing friends and also met my girlfriend! My advice would be to just take the plunge and go for it, Rockness is an amazing fest and at £99 a ticket it's a total bargain!:D
