Exeter Autumn Festival 2010


Exeter Autumn Festival takes place over two weeks from Friday 29th October to Sunday 14th November, with over 80 events featured, with theatre, music, art, comedy, poetry, Open Studios and storytelling across the city. Many acts are performed by regional artists and put on by local promoters.

Line-up

The full programme has not yet been announced, acts will include 3 Daft Monkeys, Hazaar, Easy Star All Stars, Exeter Symphony Orchestra, Exeter Philharmonic Choir, Exeter Bach Society, and Exeter Children's Orchestra.

Drama is very strong this year. Actors from The Cygnet Theatre and Theatre Alibi will perform A Flying Visit and Terrible Trolls respectively. Exeter Alternative Theatre's production of Grand Guignol will be four short plays from the Theatre of Terror. Identity Crisis is a double bill of short plays.

Comedians Sam and Dave will perform, and there will be a night of stand up comedy from Julia Jepson who returns to her home city.

Tickets

Ticket prices have not yet been confirmed, and tickets are not on sale until September.

Accommodation

This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.
