Exeter Autumn Festival is now in its third year. Taking place over two weeks, up to 50 events may be featured. All acts are either performed by regional artists or put on by local promoters.
This year's line-up includes Jah Wobble, progressive breakbeats from Hybrid, and ultimately, a feast of electronic music with one half of Orbital, Phil Hartnoll; Eat Static; Banco de Gaia; and Steve Hillages System 7 plus N-Tropic and Sunfish in the bar, and DJs at the Phoenix Arts Centre. Dreadzone, and the Alabama 3 will be appearing on separate occasions at Exeter Universitys Lemon Grove, and there are numerous other musical performances including classical, jazz + brass bands, and folk (including a celidh). Expect also childrens theatre, local school recitals, drama, comedy, exhibitions, and film; as well as the Exeter Festival of Light, which includes switching on the city's Christmas lights on Thursday, 16th November at 7.30pm with celebrity, Noel Edmonds, and a guest appearance from Shrek.
