Sedbergh Folkfest

After six years in Dent the event moved five miles down the road to a new site near Sedbergh in 2009.

Sedbergh Folkfest (formerly Dent Folk Festival) is three days of family fun in the Yorkshire Dales. Featuring major and local artists, music, dance, theatre, puppets, storytelling, workshops and kids events.

The festival announced it would be taking a year out in 2012, and then in 2013 confirmed that Sedbergh Folkfest had come to an end as both the organising team and the site owners mutually agreed that the site was unable to cope with wet weather should it arise and there wass a lack of a suitable alternative site.
