Did you know he was there or was it a total surprise? I’d not seen the leak go around but we overheard someone say they’d heard he was there, and I just wrote it off as standard Glastonbury rumour bullshit. About cacked myself when Macca said “east coast”
Hadn't heard the whiff of a rumour - our collective pennies dropped at exactly that same point.

Macca and Bruce are probably my partners favourite acts of all time. She was in tears when Bruce came out. That’ll live with me forever 😃
I think I levitated into orbit.

The forcefield worked a treat - weather was near perfect.
Amazing new addition. Can't believe it worked as well as it did.

Would they be likely to get bumped up to the pyramid if they came back? Probably not a headliner but there clearly going to the band to see if they're on anywhere.
I don't see it - and even if they did it would never top that.

It was just phenomenal. They were so good and carried it off with such style. A perfect end to the festival.
A tidal wave of bangers. Right up there with Chic on West Holts as one of Glastonbury's greatest ever parties.

Kacey Musgraves and Kojey Radical sounded amazing as well. Even the wind had no effect. Incredible stuff.

What an evening. Had to do the hard yards and sit through Noel to get a good spot but it was all worth it. Even Dave Grohl couldn't spoil it.

My good lord that was incredible. They flattened the place.

The addition of repeaters at the Other stage was the best improvement made this year.
My god the sound at the Pet Shop Boys was fantastic.

Wasn't that there the first year?

From the signposts the Glade Dome is the old Glade - and the new tent is The Glade.

And what does the old saying say if someone dumps an additional 10k cars in front of you?
Another quotable but pointless and inapplicable phrase?
It's pretty predictable which sets are going to be ridiculously busy and therefore they're incredibly easy to avoid if you don't fancy getting stuck in a throng.

Not sure how you magic the hill away.

Was that the place on the left side of the WH stage that did Halloumi and/or fish with chips peas and curry sauce? Can't remember what it was called but it was very, very good.
That's the one. Had one of their combos cos I was ravenous and even then couldn't finish it.

When folk go to a 200’000 person event and act surprised when it’s busy
Yup. As the old saying goes, you're not stuck in traffic you are traffic.

Had a couple of v. positive experiences at the new Venezuelan Arepas place in West Holts. Likewise English Indian's pakora battered fish.

Big result yesterday for the forcefield. I thought we'd get skelped, but it wasn't to be.

If we can get through the next 6 or 7 hours unscathed then we're quids in.

Was meant to be at Manilow in Glasgow, but they moved it to tomorrow night so obviously it got d@bbed down. Will find out from my wife what it was like, but would expect it to be a riot.
Though I don't subscribe to #RightBazza I being a disappointment. His crowd may have been hit a wee bit due to the scheduling clash with c**to and the lads' secret set in the JPT, but the performance itself was easily up there with the likes of Lionel, Dolly, etc

Your expectations seem a tad unrealistic.
Besides - if someone I was really wanting to see dropped out due to Covid and were replaced by any of the above acts I'd be fuming.

Apparently I'm in row H39. Am I being daft or does that not exist on the map?
Similar for us (block C rather than H) - I'm sure it'll be be fine when we arrive.

It will rain again and pretty damn soon.

The only stretch of non Beatles material longer than two tracks was a 4 song run that included Let Em In, 19&85 and Maybe I'm Amazed. Hardly deep cuts.
