The first acts have been revealed for Are You Listening? Festival, which returns to venues across Reading town centre on Saturday 28th April 2018, raising awareness and funds for Reading Mencap. Since launching in 2013, the one-day festival has raised more than £40,000 for Reading Mencap, a local charity that supports people with Learning Disabilities and their families.

Confirmed so far are IDLESYonaka, BBC 6music's Steve Lamacq, AK/DK, Her's, the band with the most fantastic name in music - Have You Ever Seen The Jane Fonda Aerobic VHS?, and locals Ash the Author, Vienna DittoVinyl StaircaseTwin SunDeerful, Nobodies BirthdayFebueder, and Here are the Young Men and Uncle Peanut, with many more acts still to be announced.

NOTE: persons aged 14yrs to 17yrs with a wristband will only be permitted in venues without an 18+ age restriction.
14+ venues are: Rising Sun Arts Centre, South Street Arts Centre MacDevitts Room and Theatre, St Laurence Church; and Sub89 (U/16 with adult).
