Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, and Manic Street Preachers top the first acts announced for Victorious Festival which takes place on SSaturday 27th and Sunday 28th August (bank holiday weekend) at Portsmouth's Southsea Common.

Noel Gallagher, will headline the Sunday on the Southsea Common Stage with his new band, High Flying Birds. Manic Street Preachers will play on Saturday night as part of string of tour dates celebrating the 20th anniversary of their triple platinum selling album Everything Must Go.

Other acts to appear on Southsea Common and Castle Field include Mark Ronson, Levellers, Ash, The Coral, Jack Savoretti, Space, Echo and the Bunnymen, Will Young, The Selecter, Emmy the Great

There are many more acts to be announced with more than 100 local acts expected to perform once again on the festival’s seaside stage with views of the Solent.

This th e5th year sees even more activities for children and faamilies added including a circus tent, and a bigger programme of children’s entertainment on offer.

As ever, all the activities in the Kid’s Arena are totally free and Victorious tickets will also allow you access to Southsea Castle, The Blue Reef Aquarium, The D Day Museum and Southsea Skate Park.

Expect also a world music village with a full programme of activities and a street food market. There are also plans being worked up to widen the festival arena and bring in more walkways.

Tickets are priced at £25 per day for adults, £7 kids aged 5-15 years, and £1 for children aged under 5 years.
