Fatboy Slim, and Clean Bandit have been announced as the headliners of Rob da Bank's new non-camping festival called Common People, which will take place on Southampton Common in Hampshire on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th May 2015.

Joining Fatboy Slim on the Saturday will be De La Soul, Jaguar Skills, George The Poet, Plastic Mermaids, Funky Little Choir, the Battle of the Bands winner, and Mr. Motivator.

On Sunday Clean Bandit top a bill including a to be announced very special guest, Band Of Skulls, Kitty Daisy & Lewis, Slaves, DJ Yoda, The Cuban Brothers, Craig Charles, and West End Kids.

Like it's sister festivals Bestival and Camp Bestival, The Big Top at Common People will play host to underground electronic music. Saturday will see Junk at the controls with sets from Dusky, Huxley, Dense & Pika, Leon Vynehall, Luca Pilato, and Jordan McKinlay.

Switch takes over on Sunday with Chicago house legend Derrick Carter leading sets from Rob da Bank, Friend Within, Toyboy & Robin, and Muddywellies.

There will also be a new bands tent with Southampton’s Joiners adding acts to the mix, and plenty more to boot.

Common People curator, Rob da Bank, said, "It’s been a long time coming to launch a new show from the Bestival family. We thought long and hard before deciding to base our new show in Southampton… I played my first ever DJ gig in Southampton when I was 16, so this is a real home coming for me.

"As with everything we do at Bestival HQ, we have really put our heart and soul into this show, from big headliners to very hot new talent and old faves, the music is so important, but equally the food, the cocktails, the layout of the show, the kids area, the sound and lights and the decor will be second to none. Thanks a mill to the council and good people of Southampton and the south coast for welcoming us over to the mainland! Viva Common People!"
