Placebo, Florence + The Machine, and Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds are among the first acts to be announced for Hurricane Festival an annual event for around 50,000 which takes place in Scheeßel, Lower Saxony, Germany which takes place from Friday 19th to Sunday 21st June 2015.

The first acts to be confirmed also include Farin Urlaub, Paul Kalkbrenner, Marteria, Alt-J, Jan Delay & Disko No. 1, Cro, The Gaslight Anthem, Katzenjammer, Parov Stelar, Milky Chance, George Ezra, NoFX, Alligatoah, Frittenbude, 257ers, Future Islands, The Notwist, SDP, The Cat Empire, Backyard Babies, Danko Jones, Kontra K, Olli Schulz, All Time Low, Band Of Skulls, Millencolin, Lagwagon, Lillywood, Every Time I Die, Skinny Lister, Public Service Broadcasting, Mantar, East Cameron Folkcore, Klingande, The Toxic Avenger, and Rone.

An early bird 3 day ticket is priced at 139 euros (with camping & parking), and a campervan pass is 35 euros.

The line-up is repeated at Hurricane's sister event, Southside, which takes place over the same weekend at Take Off Park, Neuhausen ob Eck near Munich.
