Katy Perry to headline Big Weekend in Glasgow

Katy Perry has been announced as the headlining act for the Sunday of BBC Radio 1's 11th annual free Big Weekend will take place in Glasgow Green, Glasgow, in Scotland taking place over three days from Friday 23rd until Sunday 25th May 2014.

She will be supported on the main stage by new names including Kings of Leon, Tinie Tempah, John Newman, and The Vamps.

Also confirmed is Friday headliner Tiesto, supported by Martin Garrix.

Joining the Saturday main stage line-up are One Direction, Ed Sheeran, Lily Allen, and Jake Bugg.

On Saturday the In New Music We Trust Stage will be headlined by Example with Clean Bandit, Lorde, Bombay Bicycle Club, Katy B, Twin Atlantic, Wilkinson, and The Kooks also confirmed.

On Sunday Kasabian headline the stage, topping a line-up including Sub Focus, You Me At Six, London Grammar, Sam Smith, Chvrches, Klaxons, and Gorgon City

They join the Saturday headliner Coldplay, plus Pharrell Williams, The 1975, Rita Ora, Paolo Nutini, Annie Mac, Pete Tong, Zane Lowe, and Danny Howard.
