Public Image Ltd. (PiL), and Katy B lead the first acts announced for this year's Summer Sundae Weekender from Friday 17th until Sunday 19th August 2012, a weekend later than normal due to the 2012 Olympics.

Public Image Ltd. (PiL)
British legends Public Image Limited were formed in 1978 by John Lydon. Festival goers can expect to hear tracks from the first new PiL material in 20 years, alongside post-punk anthems 'Public Image', 'This Is Not a Love Song', and 'Rise'. Katy B will be bringing her blend of dubstep, R&B funky, house and UK Garage from last year's debut album 'Katy On a Mission'.

Also confirmed are tUne-yArDs, Asian Dub Foundation, Reverend And The Makers, Willy Mason, Francois & The Atlas Mountains, Jonathan Richman, and Spanish singer songwriter Juan Zelada. The bluesy Lazy Lester will take to the stage with a group of musicians including harmonica hero Little George as Lazy Lester and Friends, with Dan Mangan, Rachel Sermanni, Cashier no 9, Goodnight Lenin, the East Midlands' very own pop-folk songstress Grace Petrie, The Magic Tombolinos, and Y Niwl also revealed in the first wave of acts.

The next raft of acts and exciting developments about the festival will be made within a month.

The event offers a civilised and relaxed atmosphere, an unwavering ethical standpoint, high production values, a quality range of foods from around the world, 20 cask ales and a mean line in cocktails (all reasonably priced) at four bars throughout the site, not to mention stalls, and high calibre comedy.

Early bird tickets are priced as follows. An adult weekend ticket is priced at £95. A young person (14-17 years) ticket is priced at £60 for the weekend. A child (aged 5-13 years) ticket is priced at £30, and under 5s go for free. An adult day ticket is priced £30 for Friday, and £50 for Saturday or Sunday.
