Orbital have confirmed they will be headlining the Other Stage at Glastonbury Festival closing the stage on Sunday 27th June.

Orbital
Until reforming last year, Orbital at Glastonbury 1994, was for many electronic music fans the live highlight of the decade. The Festival was seen as Orbital's spiritual home and where they bowed out in 2004 having played there a total of five times. It seems appropriate that they headline the Other Stage on this 40th Anniversary of Glastonbury.

"Getting Orbital back together was like a second chance at life. Closing the Other Stage at Glastonbury is like coming home for a massive party." says Paul Hartnoll.

Besides Glastonbury, Orbital are confirmed to play Isle Of Wight Festival in June, they play Guilfest and then headline Glade Festival in July with many other events worldwide, including a headline spot at the prestigious Coachella Festival in San Francisco in April.

Tickets have sold out for this year's Glastonbury Festival which runs for five full days from Wednesday 23rd until Sunday 27th June 2010 across a 1,000 acres of beautiful countryside at Worthy Farm, Somerset. eFestivals expects that a small amount of tickets may go on re-sale on the 11th April, although this is NOT confirmed by festival organisers

Only headliners U2, and Jack Johnson, plus breaking talent My Luminaire, and John E Vistic are officially confirmed for the Festival. The ticket price includes includes a FREE programme, a 40th anniversary commemorative ticket, a useful cloth bag, and a small around the neck guide.
