Blue Riband record is 3days 12 hrs which is west bound
Eastbound record is 3 days 10 hours
A fast cat has done it in 2 days 20 hours
Bransons specialised speed boat crossing was less but took him two attempts and didn't qualify for the blue riband record as it wasn't a passenger craft.
Having a ship available in the right place at the right time to make the crossing might be the problem. Most fast pleasure boats wouldn't have the range.

If they are designed for snow, won't you get very sweaty feet?

Also be sure to leave your full address, location of some form of identification, and hours that you work and are out of the house.

After reading about Lost tickets and the stress it creates...
Leave yourself a reminder here...
Mine are in the drawer under the Stereo
-
I thought about starting a 'where have you stashed your tickets' thread after reading the threads on lost tickets. One where people could write down where they had put their tickets as a reminder if they stashed them too well...
Mine would have been 'In the drawer under the stereo' :-)

2 years wait for me too, due to the birth of my twins in 2011, it seems a lifetime ago.
I couldn't bring myself to watch it on tele at the time, other than the odd snipbits.
But later watched quite a bit of the coverage days after the festival had finished.

Another vote for the Lamb Joint - lovely stuff.

It sounds fine in theory, but remember people will be sleeping- not sure how the field you're camping in will react to being woken up by this device! I know I get very annoyed by car alarms at night, even though I get why people have them. I'm not sure these are a good idea, overall...

I'm not sure the colour relates to where you park, what happens if you end up on the east side of the site to park?
Does anyone have any other colour carpark ticket than pink?

Also coming from just north of Birmingham, what time are you all leaving so I can leave earlier..!! :-)

I bought a personal attack alarm (then forgot to take it lol) basically if you pull a lanyard and metal pin comes out it sets off an alarm. They can be fixed to each zip on the tent, then if someone opens the zip it will set the alarm off and create a scene that thieves don't want.

Great thanks! Is there much of a queue to get in, as my campervan has over heated in the past and im worried about being stationary for too long!
Thanks

If Carlsberg made bosses :-)
If all bosses were like this I wouldn't be self employed. Hope you have a good one.

It almost killed me taking 8 bags of grass to the allotment on the truck. Let alone doing the Glastonbury hike. Better thin it down. Or pack heavier stuff on my back . might put sleeping bag on truck and bed on my back.

You need to fit some different wheels to it. I'm taking a leaf out of this guy's book:

Using anything that burns gas in a tent, especially when closed, is really dangerous. The gas burns the oxygen, when the oxygen level drops the gas doesn't combust completely and produces carbon monoxide...
What food are you taking?
