  1. To avoid pickpockets I still use a lanyard thingy that Glasto police handed out in 2010, I attach one end to my belt loop and the other end to a zip on a crappy wallet I take to festivals. Even helps when you are worse for wear and I had it pointed out to me last year that my wallet was swinging by my leg, if it wasnt attached then that would have been the end of it.

  2. 96 it was mate. So at least you are a year younger than you feel. I went to see them last week. Kermit looks better than he did 20 years ago and Shaun was on top form. Would love them to be there.

I am going to watch The Mondays a week before Glasto. Seeing as he is performing as both acts at the same time then it would be nice if both acts played.

Spot on, it was 96. Would be great if they ended up on the lineup.

  3. We pitch up Wednesday with enough booze for a day/night then on Thursday take an empty rucksack each to put in all the booze we need to buy in Shepton Mallet and head back to gate A. It does take up about 2-4 hours from start to finish and if I remember right the bus is about 5 quid. I'd take that over having to buy all the booze at the festival bars though. I know it wouldn't be everyone's choice but worked out quite well for us.

  4. I have driven twice and last year I took the coach. I'm on the coach again this year. It's so much easier, the only difficulty being that you have to do a booze run on the Thursday but that's no real problem as loads of buses go to Shepton Mallet from gate A. If I was a passenger in a car then it might be different but driving back on the Monday is a real pain plus at that point all you want to do is sleep
