NOW Just booked our birthday away weekend in December in at the St Ives Harbour Hotel and planning a family away weekend to Upton on Severn in November to celebrate what would have been my uncle's 100 bithrthday. Sadly he died earlier this year at 99 and never made the ton.

READY Just had a Zoom birthday gathering with our nephew who's in Australia. Technology is brilliant these days. Eight households around the world all able to meet up and chat.

YOU I saw the Flying Pickets at a Miners Benefit Concert in the Rhondda in 1984. Powerful times. Glad you've made Cornwall. We're thinking of staying in St Ives in December to celibrate our birthdays (Mrs GH and I have the same birthday date though I'm two years ahead of her).

I'm no gardening expert but I've found Winter Pansies, as the name suggests, bloom with colour in the winter. Not a lot else has colour at that time of the year, though I'd be interested in any suggestions from others.
