Ah, ok. its not just me then.
Yes! Can Arya and the hound actually get somewhere interesting? Can Danaerys stop pissing about and lay the smack down with her dragons? I don't think even Bran remembers where he's supposed to be going any more and where the fuck is this winter everyone said was coming 3 series ago!?

I'm watching it all because the missus loves it and I'm heavily invested in it now, but I have to admit I'm getting more and more disillusioned with it as time goes by. Once you strip away the sex, violence and amazing production, its just a load of disjointed and fairly boring plots acted out by, on the whole, fairly one dimensional characters. 3 and a bit seasons in and I don't feel much emotional attachment with any stories or characters. It's just leaving me a little cold.
I realise I'm on my own with this view though.

I don't understand why people get so worked up about staying in the E.U?
Politicians keep telling us it is to do with our economy and all the exporting we do to Europe.
3/4 of everything we export to the E.U is Banking, Insurance and I.T based business and hardly anything to do with manufacturing.
80% of all our laws are created by The European parliament,rendering our own parliament ineffective.
You are not allowed by law to change a light fitting or a plug socket,unless you have had it checked by a qualified electrician.

And things just got better, they announced on their facebook yesterday that they will have two stands at Glasto this year. The new one is going to be in The Park.

Led Zep playing glasto would be earth shatteringly huge. I'm fairly sure it would get more people than the stones. This is a band with such mystique and aura about them it would compel the most casual of punters to go. The Stones is special, but glasto get Led Zep? Off the richter scale.
Its never going to happen though, and to the people who somehow think the led zep machine is going to go from unconscious to full on massive outside gigs mode in the space of a couple of months need a reality check

Very sad news. A true champion of working class people in this country. Testament to his legacy is that he has the respect and admiration of people across the political spectrum. Its easy to get the love of your allies, if you also get the respect of your enemies then that makes you very special indeed. RIP.

I would've thought that Better Living Through Chemistry would be one of the songs that gets dropped, as it seemed to go on for about 10 minutes on the tour.. It would be a shame if they didn't play it though, was probably the best song off the night at The Hydro last year.

No idea if she'll play, but to throw in my two-pence worth, she was utterly dreadful at Bestival last year. Not helped by the poor sound quality, but as the only big act playing the thursday night she had a great slot and a big crowd that she managed to lose in their droves. Really flat performance and she seemed totally disinterested in the whole thing.

It switches around the first three albums but currently self titled is my favourite QOTSA album. Utterly raw and unrelenting. The final two minutes of Walking on the Sidewalks could go on for days and I'd keep listening to it.
