  1. Gate A opens 8am Wednesday but you have to let GFL know in advance otherwise they will charge the driver £50 { may now be £75 } - { name reg number }

    email office@glastonburyfestivals.co.uk

  2. Does anybody know what time Gate A opens for coaches?

    Last year we rolled in on a private coach (doing the same this year), around 10am, no queue, parked next to the national express lot and it was the easiest entry ever!

    Aiming to leave Manchester 1am Weds this year but didnt know what time it opens?

  3. Saw Keith Allen riding around on a bike one early morning. Spoke to Yannis from Foals straight after his set at the park, he had his hood up so didn't want to he fussed about but was kind enough to have a natter.

    Saw Alexa Chung in a bar at Park and Zane Lowe watching Coldplay who had a pic with the Mrs.

    Also spotted Tim Lovejoy, Jo Whiley and Steve Lamacq wondering around over the years.

  4. The Fluffy Rock Cafe is on the main strip between West Holts and Greenfields. (although there may have been two last year as some reported it being elsewhere). It serves cocktails and some food. (got some hot toast with butter and jam last year for £1.50) and has a live music lineup each day.

    I've never been to the Crow's nest but it sounds like it would be up my street. Is it in The Park?

  5. Stupid question (which I should have asked before!) - I've bought a ticket for a mate who was on holiday. Only realised as I got onto the book screen that I didn't have his debit card details - so I used my own and put in my name & address on the payment screen (but obviously his registration, name etc on the first page).

    Is this OK?

  6. saw alexa chung in stonebridge bar

    yannis from foals outside stonebridge hiding under a giant hoody, nice enough chap

    keith allen on the rail way on his bike

    various horrors/toy/peace/hot chip/lianne la havas/boxed in/steve mason members at the crows nest throughout the festival. seemed to be the hang out for those types of bands!

  7. New Build were the 'hot chip' members at WG

    Hot chip didnt do crows nest but Alexis was knocking about and told someone they might play

    michael kiwinuka did bbc introducing at some point, so did Tom Odell and Gabriel Aplin, BBC introducing kept tweeting abhout it if you can arsed to find em

    same for crows nest, their twitter showed the secret sets. Jagwar Ma, Teleman, Toy, Steve Mason, KT Tunstall amongst loads more were only announced in the mornings.
