  1. After having a bitch of a time getting tickets last year myself, found out that a friend of my nephew phoned the international line and got them immediately. Might be worth a try

  2. I'm a bit stuck as to where to camp as well, normally camp in Dragons but haven't been to Glasto since 2008 and now its closed to us mere mortals.

Taking five Glasto virgins and two who've only been once before Cant do the dance village area, to post apocalyptic for me and dont like it under or near any of the pylons. Was thinking of the Park area, anyone camped there or have any other ideas?

  3. It's not that all pop music is bad it is much more that Glasto has never been about celebrating the biggest selling pop artists, otherwise the 80's would have had Spandau Ballet or Wham headlining, the nineties would have seen Take That, Shaggy and Ace of Base and the last decade would have been dominated by X-Factor winners.

  4. Where are the other stags you speak of? I would have thought a spot of hunting would have been a no-no at Glastonbury!!

Seriously though, I completely agree with what you said. The headliners feel very under-whelming:

  5. If this is the case, which it still might not be, it seems like lazy, breathtakingly dull, unimaginitive radio 2/T4 headlining. Throw Lady Gaga into the mix and I might slip into narcolepsy' thats if the Pyramid was the only stag. Fortunately, its not. B)

  6. Bugger! this aint helping my hangover one bit.Would love to see the Stones.

As it comes from the paper of incisive journalism, it must be true.

If Coldplay are playing maybe they could be on the same time as Pulp, that'll sort the wheat from the chaff.

Note to the Eavii :- If Enya, Phil Collins and the Corrs are in the line up as well as U2 and Coldplay, then I'll know you've nicked my brother-in-law's shite record collection for inspiration.

  7. Hmmm having just polished off a large mug of chocolate horlicks and a round of butter crumpets, I read this thread with a mixture of fear and excitement. Although my sporting forte is speed smoking, inane chattering, and being able to find an alcoholic drink when blindfolded, I was saddened to see that these are not categories. Never mind, I thought, I could train Rocky stylee in my local park. OK , its only got fourteen steps leading up to in but over four months I could become iron woman.

Sadly,I see it has degenerated into Berlin 1936.

    Sort it out chaps B)

  8. Last year while we were sitting off watching the bands, we noticed a few people around us had these chairs that looked really comfy.

They had a canopy on the top which shaded them from the sun & a comfy footrest so you could stick your feet up and relax.

The ones I'd seen were all black & they had little pockets on the side for drinks etc.

I've searched everywhere and can't find them, have any of you seen them?
