  1. Still not managed to get a conclusion to the access application. On ticket day they said allow a month, then 4 weeks ago they said they' be reviewed in the the following 2 weeks. Has anyone had anything back about access applications? at this rate we might end up with a disabled person going with no carer (particularly if the tickets sell out and there is no option). I seem to be getting other problems relating to paying via instalments (can't update parking or add tickets to the order etc) so wonder if it's related to that again
  2. Managed to get something back from See Tickets (took a while). They have said that as long as there is space in our tent it doesn't matter that a person is on a different order. Just in case anyone else has the same issue
  3. It was via see tickets because that what the festival uses yes. That part works for me also (so I know I am getting the details right) but just sends a confirmation and doesn't allow any changes. On the ticket purchasing website here https://ynotfestival.seetickets.com/event/y-not-festival/pikehall/2734359#op1 It says below. But when I put my details in it does not recognise them. For this problem I just need to add another ticket and make sure they can use our glamping option (there are still spare berths), the terms and conditions say they have to be on he same order. Alternatively to above it says I can make changes as below, but that number isn't recognised and there's no response from that email or their general enquiries email.
  4. Does anyone have a way of contacting them? I have a couple of issues that I can not get answered on their site and can not seem to get any replies via email, socials or the phone number (08449670001 is listed for ticket enquiries but is not recognised). I have a question about a disability assistant application And also I am trying to add someone to my order so they can use our accommodation option, but when I put my order details into the "I already have an order" section it says It does not recognise those details (can someone else try this and see if it's everyone or just me?). Getting hold of anyone seems near impossible
  5. Thanks for the replies. They advised they have no specific chill out/sensory/escape points, but that some places are quieter than others
  6. Thank you, if I can get it sorted we're hoping for a glamping option so will have a reasonable place to escape to there if nothing else
  7. Hi Has anyone attended Ynot before with an autistic attendee? Just wondering if there was much space for escaping of necessary? And any other tips and lessons
  8. I spoke to the people who run Sticklinch via email last week and they said the info will be back on the website in the next week or so (from now). They didn't give me any prices however
  9. You posted this about the same time as me, good post
  10. I still think this is the better way, generally speaking, above a ballot system. No system will ever be 100% fair and the current system does favour those who are better off (with access to better/more equipment) and those who are more IT savvy. And while these go against the so called "ethos" of the festival that is increasingly more just USP or commercial hook rather than an actual moral ambition (at least for the vast majority involved) it won't change until the festival is full of wealthy computer scientists or friends. A ballot also has things that can be done to weigh in others favour if they have the time/skills/resource They just need to learn each year and try and improve, but first they probably need a reason to
  11. Won't be able to resale it for us, between the group we have 2 kids and one autistic so are very reliant on specific accommodation which I guess won't be available that late
  12. Well done to those that got tickets, bad luck to those (like us) that didn't. Thank you for all your help and answers this year folks
  13. Thanks...was thinking also about where do tickets get sent, don't they normally all get sent to the Lead Booker?
  14. What happens if the Lead Booker (whose name goes in first) doesn't pay the balance? Does it assign Lead Booker status to the 2nd name on the list? Or cancel the whole group?

    PA Tickets

Yes I think that is what is best, thank you doesn't sound horrible, we know the deal
  16. The WorthView/Sticklinch top pages seem to have gone from the menu now so I assume this means they're being updated as we speak (rather than they don't exist anymore). The sub pages are there if you search still but for previous years
  17. I have asked them this question recently and was told "If you have the +1 symbol on your Access Card or Access Pass and can provide details of this with your festival access application you will be issued with a PA ticket.". I have the same uncertainty as you however as I presume there is a limited number
  18. Thanks, assumed it had to be but if this process teaches us anything it's check, check and check again

    PA Tickets

Thanks for everyone replies, I hadn't seen some of these so apologies for not replying. I think she is sorted now (ticket success allowing) and has the Credability Access Card with a +1 Mark
  20. Might be an odd one that has just been a quirk for us, but my registration number and the number of everyone else I know is 10 digits long. Except for one person whose is 8. Does anyone else have a reg number that is 8 digits long? I have checked, double checked and got her to forward the email.

    PA Tickets

Aah that's interesting to note, we are actually aiming for Sticklinch so maybe that will help, the other main assistance will be things like the sensory tent. Thank you

    PA Tickets

Meant to add I have also asked the access team but not got a reply, but appreciate there could be a backlog they’re getting through. I’ll report back what they say in case it helps anyone else

    PA Tickets

Thanks for the replies; I think it confirms I interpreted it correctly and there is a risk element to it. Suppose it depends on demand etc

    PA Tickets

It does say it’s not first come first serve and applications will be judged and priotised, implying they wait til they all come in by the due date, then decide on those with the biggest need

    PA Tickets

Hi I have a friend who is autistic and looking at the possibility of her going to the festival 2024, due to her autism I am used to researching the hell out of anything and have been looking at her getting a PA ticket to help while she is there. I have read all I can on the website and I'm a bit confused by the timings. On here (https://www.glastonburyfestivals.co.uk/information/tickets/#ACC) it says they buy a ticket as normal, pay the deposit and request a PA application. The balance is paid at the start of April but the PA applications don't go in til end of April. This would leave someone who needs their assistant to go, holding with a ticket, without knowing if their assistant will get one. Neither can go, but has wasted a ticket someone could have had. Has anyone done this before, and does this sound right or have I got the wrong end of the stick?
